Will Smith flashed a smile as he took selfies with fans at the Miami premiere of Bad Boys: Ride Or Die with his co-star Martin Lawrence.

The actor and rapper, 55, beamed as he arrived at the premiere at Silverspot Cinema, Florida, on Wednesday.

Will showed up in a swanky blue sports car alongside Martin, 59, who was seen punching the air, before the pair greeted fans.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air star flashed a peace sign as he posed for a picture with a female fan, while another filmed the exchange.

The co-stars are currently on the press tour for the fourth Bad Boys film, which they say has brought them to eight different cities in 12 days.

For the Miami premiere, the pair appeared to colour-coordinate their attires, both stepping out in summery neutral tones.

Will looked stylish in a pair of light grey linen wide-leg trousers, which he paired with a white ribbed vest and cream leather Cuban shirt and matching loafers.

Meanwhile Martin was dapper in a textured tan blazer with a t-shirt, white suit trousers and trainers.

Will and and Martin made their respective debuts as Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett in the first Bad Boys movie, which was released in 1995.

The pair went on to reprise their roles in Bad Boys II and Bad Boys For Life, which were released in 2003 and 2020, respectively.

It was announced that development on the fourth film in the action-comedy franchise was underway just after the release of the third movie.

The film follows the story of two police officers who go rogue to defend the city of Miami.

Martin heaped praise on Will while promoting the flick on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC.

Will and Martin revealed that originally their parts in the Bad Boys franchise were supposed to go to very different comedians.

‘Dana Carvey and Jon Lovitz were the original Bad Boys,’ Will said. ‘That would have been a very different movie.’

‘But it would have been funny,’ Martin said.

Will and Martin both reprise their roles in the new Bad Boys: Ride or Die and Will said they had been in eight cities in 12 days for the movie’s press tour, so far.

Martin shared that it was actually his sister who suggested that he do the movies with Will.

‘I wanted to do it with Eddie Murphy and you know that’s my man,’ Martin said, to which Will joked: ‘I’m sitting right here.’

‘At that time I wanted Eddie for the movie but I couldn’t afford Eddie,’ Martin said.

Martin said his sister suggested Will, so he called him and asked him to come to his house for dinner to discuss the movie.

‘After talking to Will for five minutes, sold,’ Martin said, before added that he remembered asking Martin to let him read the script.

‘He was like “nahhhh…the script’s not good”,’ Will recalled. ‘Commit to the idea.’

‘It’s the best move I ever made,’ Martin said. ‘I got to tell you this dude is awesome. He’s one of the most professional actors out there. The most talented actors out there. He has a brilliant mind. He’s a genius. He’s upstanding.’

‘I mean, he’s no Eddie Murphy,’ Jimmy, 49, quipped.

‘He don’t got to be Eddie Murphy. He’s Will Smith,’ Martin said.
