Blink-182 are still out on the road on the latest leg of their One More Time Tour that began three weeks earlier.
During a brief break at Travis Barker’s inaugural Run Travis Run: A Run & Wellness Experience in Los Angeles on Saturday, the band’s drummer confessed to how proud his is to have his son Landon Barker with him on tour as one of the guest artists.
‘He was at home rehearsing the last few days and I got to see him,’ the Barker Wellness founder, 48, said of his son Landon, 20, who fronts his own band as the singer.
‘I’ve been helping him with music, while I’m home, here and there,’ the musician and producer added, before boasting, ‘So yeah, I’m really proud of him.’
Landon has been banging it our in rehearsals with his bandmates ahead of their first show as an opener for Blink-182 on Thursday, July 11, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

After a day off following the Run Travis Run 5K event, Blink-182 will first play two shows when they resume their tour, first in Fresno, California on Monday, and then in San Francisco on Tuesday, which are July 8 and 9.
The next gig on Thursday, July 11, at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, is when Landon Barker and his band will hit the stage as one of one of the openers for his dad’s hugely successful three-piece band.
While this part of the 2024 tour goes on through into autumn, Landon will be playing certain shows, which at times also features Pierce The Veil, Alexisonfire, Astronoid, Drain, EKKSTACY, jxdn, Live Without and Hot Milk.
In May, during an appearance on the podcast, The Allison Hagendorf Show, the host asked what’s it’s like to work and create alongside your father.
‘Writing with my dad has been so much fun,’ Landon revealed, before joking how it sometime feels like It’s ‘bring your son to work day.’
He continued, ‘When we’re working together I love hearing his ideas. When I hear him say something I wonder what that’s going to sound like, but he’s always right. He’s always right.’
When asked if his dad sugarcoats his words, the Over You singer was quick to shoot that notion down and share how he likes it more when his dad is more direct.
‘No, he’ll be like, “I don’t like that, which I love and which I need,’ the Los Angeles native admitted.

Landon, who’s a model and social media influencer with more than 2.1 million Instagram fans and followers, said he’s wary of having too many yes people around him.
‘No matter who you are in music I feel like it’s really easy to have a lot of people around you that are like, “That’s sic,”‘ he said during the conversation with Hagendorf.
He went on to explain how he much prefers to have people offer up some constructive criticism.
