Shaughna Phillips’ Accuser Found Not Guilty Again
Shaughna Phillips has revealed a man she accused of sexually assaulting her and other women has been found not guilty after a second trial. The Love Island star...
The Love Island star, 32, who rose to fame on the show in 2020, bravely detailed her ordeal for the first time in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
The mother-of-two claims to have been assaulted by the man during a massage five years ago.
Shaughna explained: 'In 2021, I accused a man of sexually assaulting me during a massage. I text my mum as soon as I left the appointment and told her something happened to me.
'I told Billy that night while we was laying in bed what had happened and how it made me feel.
'These disclosures would later be used in evidence. At the time of going to the police I thought I was one person, I was interviewed, left the police station and in all honesty, I didn't expect much else.
'I later found out I was the 9th person to accuse him of sexual assault, across 4 police forces throughout the UK. I was shocked, upset, angry, confused.'

She added: 'This is the first time I've been able to speak about what happened, and it's obviously not the outcome I was hoping for, not just for me or for the other girls who were affected by this case. But for girls everywhere.
'This man was found not guilty by jury of his peers, and this is the system we have to trust to work. Sometimes it does, sometimes.

'Would I go through the whole process again, knowing what the outcome would be?
'Yes. Unequivocally yes. We must. We must never allow abuse of any kind to go unspoken about. We must continue to speak up not just for ourselves, but for the generation of girls that come after us.
'For the girls we are raising, who I hope live in a world where they are believed. Where their voice is and always will be enough.'
In 2024, the man faced a trial for the sexual assault claim and several other allegations. He was found not guilty for some charges including Shaughna's.
