The state of Utah has revoked the license of Provo Canyon School's campus in Springville as it said the school has 'failed to provide applicable health and safety services for clients.'
The 45-year-old heiress had spent almost a year at the school in the late 1990s as she alleges staff members beat her, watched her shower, fed her unknown pills and locked her in solitary confinement without clothing.
She took to her X (formerly ) account early Tuesday morning to write: 'I've been waiting years to write this. The place that hurt me, and countless children before and after me, will no longer be allowed to operate.
'The children inside are going to be removed [tears in eyes emoji] The dream I’ve had to protect future generations from the abuse I endured is finally happening [heartbreak emoji] #ShutDownPCS #Survivor'
Meanwhile, the state's action, which took effect Monday, cites multiple noncompliance issues against the boarding school. The school has 15 days to request a hearing before the Department of Health & Human Services.

The wide-ranging citations, which go back to 2025, include failing to increase staff-to-client ratios, engaging in an unnecessary restraint and aggressive physical contact with a client, neglecting care, and not verifying employee information or submitting background checks for applicants in a timely manner.
State health officials imposed temporary restrictions on the school in May, saying staff did not seek immediate medical care for a student with serious injuries.

'To every member of the House: Think of the children who can't speak for themselves. They're counting on you. Let's turn pain into purpose and protect the most vulnerable among us,' she wrote.
Hilton added: 'Silence doesn't heal - it protects the people that caused the harm.'
Hilton has travelled to Washington every six to 10 months starting in October 2021, lobbying to reform youth residential treatment facilities.
She previously individually met with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Republican Senators Chuck Grassley of and of South Carolina to advocate for the bill's passage.
The model had been 'doing a little girls, sister holiday shopping' in Saks Fifth Avenue in on Wednesday when she learned that her bill had been passed by the Senate, she told ABC News.
She recalled how they were 'bawling, in tears, just so proud and so happy' by the news, but is now urging House lawmakers to bring the bill to the floor for a vote 'immediately.'
'When the US Senate came together in a rare show of unity to pass the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act unanimously on Wednesday December 11th, it was one of the best moments of my life. It was proof that when we listen to survivors and put politics aside, we can create real, meaningful change,' Hilton wrote in her open letter.
'But this journey isn't over. I can't celebrate until this bill becomes law, and now it's up to the US House of Representatives to finish what the Senate started.'
In an emotional Instagram post December 2024, the model opened up about living with the 'weight of the trauma' and abuse she endured as a teenager at a youth residential treatment center

She continued, 'To Leader Scalise, Speaker Johnson, and every member of the House: I urge you to think about the children who can't speak for themselves. They're relying on us - on you - to stand up for their safety and dignity. Passing this bill would be a testament to what we can achieve when we lead with empathy and courage.'
Hilton, who has spoken candidly of for troubled teens, also revealed in 2023 that her first sexual experience was non-consensual, when she was raped by an older man at the age of 15 after consuming a spiked drink.
At the time, Hilton was living with her grandmother in Palm Springs and would often visit the Westfield Century City shopping center in with her friends.
She told to Glamour UK how older men would often hang around the stores and speak to them and one day they invited Paris and her friends back 'to their house'.
Hilton said she was offered 'berry wine coolers' to drink and one of the men was particularly forceful about getting her to drink it.
She said: 'When I had maybe one or two sips, I just immediately started feeling dizzy and woozy. I don't know what he put in there; I'm assuming it was a roofie [Rohypnol].'

The hotel heiress claimed she woke up several hours later knowing something bad had happened. She said: 'I remembered it. I have visions of him on top of me, covering my mouth, being like, 'You're dreaming, you're dreaming,' and whispering that in my ear.'
She added the experience made her feel ashamed and she went to boarding school in Utah for two years soon after.

The reality star claimed she was sexually abused after being forced to undergo cervical exams performed by staff members in the early hours of the morning while attending the school.
Hilton previously said her childhood was 'stolen' by the alleged abuse at Provo Canyon School where she spent 11 months when she was 17 years old.
Testifying to Utah lawmakers in February 2021, the hotel heiress said she was 'verbally, mentally and physically abused on a daily basis' at Provo Canyon.
'I was cut off from the outside world and stripped of all of my human rights. I was not allowed to be myself, hold my own opinions or even speak. Without a diagnosis I was forced to consume medication that made me feel numb and exhausted. I didn't breathe fresh air or see the sunlight for 11 months,' she said.
'Children were restrained, hit, thrown into walls, strangled and sexually abused regularly at Provo… I could not report this because all communication with my family was monitored and censored.
'That was the worst of the worst… There's no getting out of there. You're sitting on a chair and staring at a wall all day long, getting yelled at or getting hit.'
The socialite slammed the institution in her 2020 documentary This Is Paris and succeeded in pushing for new, tighter regulation on schools for troubled teens.
