Scalper inspectors in Victoria have busted illegal sales of more than 1000 seats to The Eras shows in February, the Herald Sun reports.

Tickets worth $379 were being sold online for a whopping $2210, $2065 and $1860 each in what is being called a ‘surge in scalpers’.

‘Event organisers will only accept authorised tickets on the night,’ Major Events representative Steve Dimopoulos warned this week.

Scalped tickets for the shows skyrocket in price and authorities have cancelled at least 1090 illegal ticket listings.
