The group's first single was released in 2024 titled Debut followed by another called Touch.

That same year, Katseye dropped their EP SIS (Soft Is Strong).

In April 2025, the members released another single Gnarly, which is found on their second EP titled Beautiful Chaos.

Gabriela is another song found on the latest EP and reached the number 21 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The track was nominated at the 2026 Grammy Awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The group's most recent performance as six members had also been at the awards ceremony where they gave an energetic performance of Gnarly for the audience and fans.

Last year in November, Katseye embarked on The Beautiful Chaos Tour which came to an end in Mexico City on December 16.

Also late last year, the group revealed that they had hired a group therapist to help them navigate the spotlight as well as dealing with death threats.

Raj told Rolling Stone, 'I try to tell myself it doesn't matter, but if 1,000 people are sending you death threats… even if it's not going to happen… it's heavy, and it's jarring.'

Bannerman added that it is 'very terrorizing on the mind.'

The singer has also reflected on the group's diversity during a previous conversation with the Associated Press

'People want to see diversity. People want to see themselves represented on the TV, on billboards. And I really hope that people high up see that and see that it works, and implement that,' Bannerman said.

Also late last year, the group revealed that they had hired a group therapist to help them navigate the spotlight as well as dealing with death threats; seen in January in L.A.

And during an interview with Hypebae, she added the group also 'takes great pride in it. We're just really grateful.

'I always say this, but one of the most beautiful things about the casting side for me is that we all look so different and diverse, and like any girl can look at us and see herself in us.'

The performer added, 'I feel like we all wanted to have that growing up, so being able to live it and be that role model is amazing. We're really excited.'

While the statement shared on Friday noted Bannerman's hiatus is only temporary, it is not known when she will return to Katseye.
