MAFS star Peggy Rose has announced she is pregnant after being told she only had a 1 per cent chance of conceiving.
The TV personality, 33, has been on an emotional IVF journey to have a child for months now and has faced a series of setbacks.
But, revealing her happy news in an Instagram update on Thursday, Peggy said that she had finally had a positive test and a scan which showed a 'tiny little heartbeat.'
Peggy - who is now in a relationship with a mystery partner - rose to fame on the show in 2023 where she was partnered with Georges Berthonneau but they split not long after the series.
Uploading a sweet video with her man, the couple wore caps which read 'Mum' and 'Dad' as they shared a kiss.
She wrote: 'I’m so sorry I’ve been a little quiet it’s been the most overwhelming, emotional, beautiful few days since testing.'

Peggy continued: 'I really wanted to tell my nearest and dearest face-to-face before sharing it on socials as I’m sure you can imagine.
'But… you were all right. It only took one little egg! If you’re on this journey right now, I hope this gives you hope and inspiration not to give up and to stay ‘positive’ (excuse the pun)
'It’s still very early days. A lot of my friends and family said I shouldn’t post until 12 weeks, and I am a little superstitious too and if I was doing this naturally or IVF but not broadcasting on socials I wouldn’t be announcing it so soon either.
'But I promised from the very beginning that I would be open and transparent about this journey - and that’s exactly what I’ll continue to do.

'We’re just taking every single day as it comes now, praying our scan shows a tiny little heartbeat.
'THANK YOU for all your messages, your positivity and your inspirational stories. You have honestly been the biggest support to me.
'If sharing this helps even one person feel less alone, then it’s worth it. Sharing is caring.
Just two weeks ago Peggy revealed that she only has a one per cent chance of conceiving a child after a heartbreaking setback.
But, revealing her happy news in an Instagram update on Thursday, Peggy said that she had finally had a positive test and a scan which showed a 'tiny little heartbeat'
The TV personality gave an update on her journey after going to the hospital for an egg collection.

She penned in her lengthy post alongside snaps in her gown: 'Sorry I didn't give an update yesterday. It was the most emotional day yet.
'Going in with 8 good sized follicles, and coming out to find that after all the injections and the operation they only managed to collect one egg…one egg…and they couldn't confirm if it's mature was really hard to process. I'm so grateful for the opportunity and the staff were amazing but it's hard not to be disappointed!
'It was the first time I thought that sharing my journey was a mistake as I didn't know how I would get the courage to explain what had happened to you all without it crushing me but I'm sticking to my word and I promised to share both the highs and the lows, so here is the raw truth (the low) in the hope that it helps someone.
'I genuinely thought I was being realistic hoping we'd get at least a few from many decent-sized follicles, but I guess this journey is a constant reminder that you just never know.
'Right now I'm trying to stay positive and hopeful that it's a good egg, that it matures and fertilises. We'll find out tomorrow. And now comes the dreaded wait… the unknown is honestly the hardest part.
'As for the surgery itself, it was absolutely fine. In and out of theatre within about 20 minutes. I was sedated with oxygen, didn't feel a thing, and only needed paracetamol afterwards. I have pain in my right ovary but maybe that's because there was double the amount of follicles there.

'The staff were all amazing, they offered tea, hot chocolate or coffee and a biscuit when you wake up which was a small bonus on a pretty disappointing day.
'After hearing the news, I just wanted to get home, into my own bed, and recover hoping and praying for good news✨
'Thank you for all the love and support. It really means more than you know. One egg I think we only have a 1-3% chance now but we're staying hopeful ❤️.'
In 2024 she said of her wish to have children: 'I'm not sure if I can have children. I used to suffer with anxiety - I get stressed and I'm a very anxious person.

'I basically haven't had a menstrual cycle in five years now. They're calling it secondary hypothalamic amenorrhea, which is all related to stress.

'But yeah, I want to find someone that wants kids too and helps me to have them - it's going to be a big process, I'll probably need IVF, and that's quite scary. I got this news a couple of months ago and yeah, I'm so gutted.'
Peggy opened up about her heartbreaking split from Georges back in 2024, and claimed that the fame 'went to his head'.
After the E4 show finished airing, Georges called it quits on their short-lived marriage, which ultimately left Peggy completely devastated.
She then claimed that their relationship went south because Georges became too obsessed with fame.
