Luke Combs and his wife Nicole Hocking Combs announced the birth of their third child, son Chet Wiley Combs on his 'due date' Thursday.

The 35-year-old country crooner and the 33-year-old former BMI recruiter revealed the 'littlest Combs boy' was born prematurely after noting they 'loved soaking up these last few weeks of newborn snuggles.'
Chet is a common nickname for Chester, which happens to be Combs's father's name.
The married couple of five years shared three pictures of the infant and Nicole reacted to the snap of his tiny hand via Instastory: 'You really do forget how small they are!'
The eight-time Grammy nominee and the blonde beauty first revealed the pregnancy on September 23 with a video of them informing their two sons - Tex Lawrence, three; Beau Lee, two - that they'd have a baby brother.

Combs was forced to cancel his February 6 performance at EA Sports Madden Bowl concert at San Francisco ahead of Super Bowl LX in order to focus on his child's impending birth.

'So sorry to miss y'all at Madden Bowl,' the Be By You singer - who boasts 25.5 million social media followers - wrote at the time.
'But family always comes first.'
Nothing was going to interfere with Chet's arrival after Combs missed the birth of his son Beau in 2023 while touring Australia.

'I haven't really told anybody that,' Combs confessed to Apple Music's Zane Lowe in 2024.
'I'll never forget the craziest day, probably, in my life… close to it.
'One of the best and one of the worst days in my life at the same time was, interestingly enough, and it's so hard to wrap my mind around it.'
On September 27, the North Carolina-born belter told Taste of Country Nights: 'I feel like everybody told me all the stuff [about fatherhood], but it's like you can't really understand it until you live it — it's like getting punched in the face.'
'You figure a lot of s*** out after getting punched in the face,' Combs noted.
