Kim Basinger Shocks Alec Baldwin with Rare Tribute

Ahead of the release, Premiere wrote an exposé about the couple allegedly making life miserable for the crew with their demands, his violent tantrums and her lateness

'In Disney's zeal to get me and her, they killed the movie,' the Here's the Thing podcaster told EW in 1991. 'The idea that I did these things to hurt the movie — this is bulls***! I've never had a problem like this in my life. This was a contrived smear'

Basinger - who earned a Razzie Award nod for the Neil Simon-penned flick - denied the allegations of tardiness to Nightline in 1991: 'That's a total lie. That's a total absolutely total lie'
