'All of them have been like that. So I did relationship therapy and I always needed a man. Nowadays I don't need a man. If I want a man, it's because I want them, not because I need them.'
In the podcast she also reflected on her relationship with pop star Gareth Gates - who agreed to appear in her new docuseries.
The former glamour model was 21 years old and six months pregnant with her son Harvey when she took the pop star's virginity.
Gareth, then 17, denied the relationship but later conceded it was true assuming it was Katie who had sold the story to the press.
She speaks in the documentary about selling the story about their romance but says she now feels bad looking back.
Katie told host Josh: 'That was 25 years ago [Gareth Gates] and he's never done an interview about us, never ever. So when I found out they had [interviewed him for the documentary], I was like, 'what did he say about me?'
'I was so intrigued. I've now found out 25 years later why he ghosted me, and I've waited 25 years to know that. Watching it back, it's actually really sad what happened between us. If I could sit with him now, I'd love to sit with him and talk, because he's an adult now and we were both young, really just kids at the time.
'I would want to say sorry to him. Looking back, I wish I never put the story out there, and I'm sorry it hurt him.'
