Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Star-Studded Madison Square Garden Wedding

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married. The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end tied the knot on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York City, capping months of speculation with one of the most closely guarded celebrity weddings in recent memory.

A representative for Swift confirmed the ceremony was officiated by comedian Adam Sandler, described as a close friend of the couple. Neither Swift nor Kelce had bridesmaids or groomsmen in the traditional sense — Swift's brother Austin served as her "Man of Honor," while Kelce's brother and podcast co-host, retired NFL lineman Jason Kelce, stood in as best man.

Swift's wedding gown was designed by Christian Dior Haute Couture under creative director Jonathan Anderson, working closely with the bride. Roughly 1,000 guests attended the celebration, which organizers transformed into what one attendee described as a "secret garden" theme, with the arena floor, walls and ceilings draped in peach and white and blown-up photographs of the couple displayed at every age.

Music was a centerpiece of the night. "Good Morning America" co-anchors confirmed that Stevie Nicks performed an intimate set for the newlyweds, while wedding guests later revealed that Paul McCartney played a Beatles classic live for the first time in decades during the reception.

Security around the event was extensive. New York police closed surrounding streets for two days, and roughly 135 officers were assigned to manage the celebration and the crowds of fans and media who gathered outside the arena hoping for a glimpse of the guest list, which reportedly included Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Hugh Grant, Zoë Kravitz and dozens of other A-listers from music, film and sports.

Ahead of the festivities, Swift and Kelce donated a combined $26 million to charities across 20 organizations, many with personal ties to the couple, according to Swift's publicist. The celebration reportedly ran past 4 a.m., closing out what fans have already dubbed the wedding event of the year.
