A fuming grandmother has yet to meet her two-year-old granddaughter after one Aussie family split apart over a botched wedding ring.
A caller buzzed into the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday morning during their Snap Predictions segment to seek advice on her feud with her own mother-in-law.
Alecia said she used her mother-in-law’s jeweller to create her wedding ring for her nuptials, but the craftsman ‘screwed up’ the band so bad it caused a rift between the pair.
‘He basically screwed up my whole ring, and then, yeah, we had a big falling out over that,’ the caller said.
She added that her mother-in-law has a history of cutting family members out of her life over minor grudges.
‘She doesn’t necessarily talk to any of her family. Like she has cut off everyone in her family,’ the woman said.
KIIS FM shock jock Kyle Sandilands commented: ‘Oh, so she’s a bit of a stick in the mud type.’
The caller confirmed: ‘Yeah she tends to hold grudges.’

She then went on to say her and her husband have since had a baby girl that her mother-in-law hasn’t met yet because of the feud over the piece of jewellery.
‘We have had a daughter, so my daughter’s two and a half and she has never met her [grandmother],’ she said.
It’s not the only struggling family to have called into the Kyle and Jackie O Show in recent weeks with Kyle, 53, reaching into his own pockets last week to help out a Sydney woman who called into his radio show.
The charitable act occurred when Kyle and co-star Jackie O Henderson were playing their daily $10,000 Pop Quiz which awards listeners $100 for every question they answer correctly or $10,000 for a clean sweep.

A 23-year-old woman named Rhiannon phoned in to play, revealing that she was going to use the $10,000 to help buy her struggling parents a new car.
An emotional Rhiannon revealed that her father had just lost his job in the middle of building a new house.
‘Their car is on its way out,’ she said between tears.
‘Dad doesn’t have a job at the moment and mum doesn’t get many hours at work, so we’re struggling. We’re building a new house. So I just want to do something nice and help them.’
Unfortunately Rhiannon was left disappointed as she only answered two questions correctly, walking away with just $200.

However, after revealing that he can’t stand to hear women cry, Kyle went rogue, stopping the show to go against the competition’s rules.
He offered to take some of the stress off the struggling family by offering to personally buy them a car.

Sydney’s number one breakfast radio duo were a no show at the awards ceremony, with producers from their hit show collecting the gong on their behalf.
They were also up against rivals Lauren Phillips and Jason Hawkins for Best On-Air Team, but both groups lost it to Brendan Jones and Amanda Keller.
