In the sponsored post for beauty brand Calmerceuticals, Braith said he started feeling 'average both physically and mentally' after slackening off over Christmas.
Sharing a photo of himself stripped to the waist, taken on January 8, he explained he set himself a target that could be 'clearly judged on' to lose the kilos.
Explaining that his two-hour workout regimen begins each day with a 4.30 am start, he continued: 'Working 3 jobs and having two young girls, it would be easy to make excuses.

'Most days I was cooked, but that's what is most satisfying, pushing through. I'm proud of the hard work, balance and sacrifices I made.'
After six weeks, Braith said he was back to 'where he wanted to be' and shared a new photo of the results of his fitness binge.
Posing without a shirt, in boardshorts and a cap, Braith appeared trimmed of all excess flesh, as he flaunted his muscular chest and pecs.
He signed off his post with a message to his followers: 'It's never too late and you've always got time and added, "Your next move matters more than your last mistake."'

In his chat with Daily Mail, Braith also said: 'Taking Calmercueticals every morning first thing has been the game changer.'
The brand offers a liquid marine collagen that aims to improve hydration and skin elasticity. It also reduces wrinkles.
It comes after Braith's girlfriend publicly declared her deep love for the footy great last month.
Braith, who enjoyed a glittering career with the Bulldogs and Roosters, is now dating Sydney publicist Sara Bray.
Sara and Braith rekindled their relationship last year, almost 20 years after they first dated.
