Timothee Chalamet

Timothee Hal Chalamet, born December 27, 1995, in New York City, to a French father and an American mother, is one of the most acclaimed young actors of his generation and already widely regarded as one of the defining screen talents of the 21st century, a performer of extraordinary emotional transparency, physical grace, and intellectual depth. He grew up between New York and Le Chambon-sur-Lignon in France, developing a polyglot sensibility. He attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan before enrolling at Columbia University, which he left after one semester to pursue his career. His early television work included a recurring role on Homeland before his film career launched with Interstellar (2014).
