Harry Edward Styles, born February 1, 1994, in Redditch, Worcestershire, England, and raised in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, is one of the most beloved British pop stars of his generation, a former One Direction member who has built an artistically ambitious solo career notable for its embrace of classic rock and folk influences, its visual and sartorial boundary-pushing, and its deeply personal songwriting.
