Sir Elton Hercules John is an English singer, pianist, and composer whose career spans more than five decades and multiple genres. Alongside longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin, he wrote a string of classic hits including 'Rocket Man', 'Tiny Dancer', and 'Your Song'. John has won five Grammy Awards, an Academy Award for Best Original Song for 'The Lion King', and a Tony Award, becoming one of the rare artists to achieve the coveted EGOT.
