Victoria Beckham shared some fun behind-the-scenes snaps from her Time100 appearance in New York on Instagram on Wednesday.

The fashion designer, 52, appeared in high spirits as she left the Lincoln Center, despite reports she lost a trademark battle with US luxury handbag retailer Vera Bradley.

The fashion designer's legal team had launched a bid to stop the brand using the initials VB last year.

Vera Bradley, which makes £200million a year, is an American luggage and handbag design company, founded by Barbara Bradley Baekgaard and Patricia R. Miller in 1982.

Law firm Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp represented  Ltd, with LA attorney Eleanor Lackman arguing Victoria was known globally for her initials.

They feared Vera Bradley consumers would think Victoria and her team were behind the designs as her initials are the logo for her beauty brand.

But after asking for more time to put their case together, it has now been dropped.

The fashion designer's legal team had launched a bid to stop the brand using the initials VB, which is the logo for Victoria's beauty brand

The US Patent and Trademark Office said, according to The Sun: 'The Board notes the request, filed by Potential Opposer, Victoria Beckham Limited, to relinquish its extension of time to file a notice of opposition.

'In view thereof, the relinquishment releases the record of application for further processing.'

Daily Mail has contacted Victoria's representatives for comment.

It was previously reported Victoria lost a trademark battle against a Norwegian supermodel's beauty brand, due to the ex  lack of fame in the country.

The fashion designer claimed Vendela Kirsebom's Vendela Beauty featured an almost identical VB logo to her own brand which she said could confuse consumers.

According to reports, Victoria and her team provided sales figures, magazine features and Instagram followers in a bid to prove their presence in the country.

However, it was ruled the Beckham brand failed show how many of their followers were solely in Norway before noting that the sales figures provided were for the entire Nordic region.

Model Vendela, whose company sells skincare and make-up had her trademark first filed her trademark application in 2021, years before Victoria opposed it.
