'We're very happy together. We're really enjoying trying to get this balance between America and the UK,' she said.

Hurley shared that Cyrus - who's the father of singer , 33 - has been based in Tennessee for the past 35 years, noting, 'But the good thing is that he's very country where he is in .'

She added, 'I'm very country where I am. And that's a really important thing in our relationship that neither of us want to be out and about.'

The star went on to say that the couple's happy place is 'being at home in the country and snuggling up and doing a lot of things with nature' and that they 'very rarely' go out.

'Nobody would look at either of us and think that's who we were, but we are,' she said, adding that she loves 'gardening' and he enjoys being in nature.
