Vicky Pattison Escapes to Ibiza Amid Fertility Woes

took her mind off her recent struggles, as she jetted to Ibiza with her husband in a new Instagram post.

The former star, 38, recently shared that she feels 'lost' because she doesn't have a baby yet, after candidly sharing insight into her fertility journey.

Vicky posted a gallery of snaps from her holiday on Instagram, including her figure clad in a plunging black bikini.

The presenter flew to the island to present Heart Radio's live event on the party island, before enjoying some downtime with Ercan and her pals.

She captioned the post: 'A few days on the white isle...'

During a recent episode of her podcast, Vicky broke down in tears as she reflected on her struggles to have a child.

The star has been open with her fans about her journey, and has been candidly documenting the process of , which she started when she was 35.

She said she wanted to take control of her fertility, and had the treatment which resulted in three embryos being frozen.

And now the star has confirmed she and her husband Ercan are trying for children as she tearfully admitted: 'I didn't think I'd be this age without a baby or a family.'

Appearing on the 's Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast, Vicky explained: 'It's just the way the cookie crumbles and like how life sometimes like presents you with different things and different opportunities and stuff. And I've never really felt ready until now.

'It's wild but like something just clicks, and the minute you feel ready it's like you need a baby straight away. 

'And all my whole life I felt so content and so happy and so proud of the things I was doing, and now all of a sudden, because I don't have a baby, I feel a bit lost.'

Wiping away her tears she continued: 'I love my husband so much. He's going to make such a great dad. We're just trying not to put too much pressure on ourselves. 

'We made a decision a couple years ago to freeze our eggs which I'm like so happy we did. Gives you that bit of a security blanket. 

'Yeah, I look forward to the day where that is a treatment that is available for more women, more affordable, certainly.'

Jokingly she added: 'But yeah, at the moment, Well I mean, he's [Ercan's] having a lovely time. 

'I know these things take time, but patience has never been one of my virtues.'

In a 2025 interview with Women's Health UK she admitted that she has a 'huge question mark over motherhood' and that the pressure to have a baby now that she is married is 'suffocating'.

She explained that she had worked so hard for so long to get where she has career-wise, that taking a break 'scares her'.

'I'm a huge advocate for egg freezing, although I'm saying that from a position of financial privilege,' she said.

'Women shouldn't be beholden to this invisible timeline. We're fed this narrative that we can have it all and do whatever we want, but it's not necessarily true. In women's lives, there has to be a lot of compromise involved. 

'I met Ercan when I was 31 and wanted to give our relationship breathing space… It's been the best thing I've ever done. I felt really suffocated, on a kind of conveyor belt, and now I feel free.'

The star also said she and Ercan are 'singing from the same song sheet' about wanting more time to make up their minds about parenthood.

Also speaking on the Women's Health Just as Well podcast with Gemma Atkinson and Claire Sanderson, Vicky explained: 'My mum told me "If not having children is your trajectory, that's fine", which I thought was powerful. 

'I think we're coming around to the idea as a society that a woman doesn't have to have children to be fulfilled – and, for me, there's still a huge question mark over motherhood. 

'I've worked to finally get to a place where I'm proud of who I'm becoming, and the thought of taking a break… it scares me.'
