Jessie J Enjoys Summer in Denmark Post-Split

shared a video of her 'summer full of love' as she visited Copenhagen just days before releasing a statement announcing her split from Chanan Colman. 

The singer, 38, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share highlights from her trip with son Sky, three, and her parents Stephen and Rose. 

Jessie performed a live concert in Copenhagen on Friday, with the gig being extra special for her son as Denmark is Chanan's birthplace. 

It took place on the Open-Air Stage at the iconic Tivoli Gardens as part of their summer Friday Rock series 

The clip showed Jessie flaunting her toned figure in a bright orange bikini while in another she splashed in the sea with Sky. 

Other cute moments showed Jessie giving Sky a tour around her tour bus and backstage at the Tivoli Gardens. 

And it seems Sky might be following in Jessie's footsteps as the tot told her he wanted to go on stage too. 

The family enjoyed a luxury stay at Rox Resort.  

Jessie captioned the post: 'A busy summer filled with love. Thank you @roxresort for an amazing stay for our few days off and so much attention to detail for Sky to be entertained.' 

Fans commented: 'Beautiful boy. Beautiful mumma' and 'I feel like we all just blinked and he’s a whole 10ft. Cutest boy with the best mummy!' 

The family time comes after Jessie revealed she and Chanan ended their romance 'some time ago' on Instagram on Monday.

Jessie wrote: 'Chanan and I decided to end our romantic relationship some time ago.

'It has been a sad and difficult situation, but we have been focused on navigating the change privately and positively for a healthy and happy co-parenting environment for our son, and ourselves.

'Unfortunately being in the public eye this is the easiest way to let people know the truth, before rumours circulate or a false narrative is written.'

She continued: 'We will always continue supporting each other with love, respect and care as friends and most importantly being Sky's Mum and Dad. 

'So if you see us out and about together as a family, or posting each other on socials every now and again. That’s exactly what we are doing.

'Raising and loving Sky together, supported with a positive friendship.'

Back in May 2025, Jessie revealed that marriage was not something she was too focused on because having a child together meant they were already 'locked in.'

She expected they would wed 'one day', but added that it was not something particularly important for them to do right now. 

'We talk about it all the time, she told PEOPLE magazine, 'and we laugh about it all the time, and I'm sure we will, but we're not in any rush.

'I've always said that I'm not too fussed about getting married, and some people get really funny about that, but it's my own preference.'

Jessie added that she finds marriage 'quite contractual' but she was keen for them to affirm their love for one another.

Jessie revealed the happy news that she was thankfully cancer free in May, a year after her official diagnosis. 

She shared at the time: 'Results are in and I am cancer-free!" followed by 10 crying emojis.

She added: 'I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year.'

In June last year, the Price Tag singer revealed her diagnosis on social media, and had surgery later that month. Chanan had been by Jessie's side throughout her breast cancer journey. 

Two months later, in August, she rearranged and cancelled upcoming tour dates after revealing she needed to undergo further cancer treatment.

Jessie J said she decided to go public about her cancer in order to help process her diagnosis, and show solidarity with others going through a similar ordeal and said the diagnosis had given her 'incredible perspective'.

Before Chanan, Jessie’s most famous relationship to date was with Hollywood actor Channing Tatum, with the pair dating following Channing’s split from wife Jenna Dewan in 2018. 

Going public in October 2018, Channing and Jessie endured an on-off relationship for around two years, before splitting for good in October 2020.
