The producers behind Bravo's hit series Summer House have major plans to turn the reality show into a full blown franchise, similar to The Real Housewives.
Summer House, which follows a group of friends who party in a rented Hamptons house over the summer, has already spawned two spin-offs, but more are on the way.
Glenda Hersh, co-founder of the show's production company Truly Original, told Deadline that they are currently scouting two new locations for potential Summer House spin-offs.
'You need a place that people go to on weekends, then come back to their own city life, and it has to extend over a summer in order to make the storytelling compelling,' she explained.
'Summer House is its own franchise. We are exploring, in really advanced ways, a couple of other locations, which would be Summer House: Location, where you are continuing with that specific story style and loose format, but with a change of location and a change of cast.'
The first Summer House spin-off, Winter House, featured cast members from Summer House, , and Southern Charm, along with a few new faces. It followed the group as they spent two weeks in a winter rental together.

It ran for three seasons, but Hersh admits that the small filming window hindered the storytelling.
There was also Summer House: Martha's Vineyard, which followed an all-black cast, but it was 'put on pause' by Bravo in 2024 after two seasons.
Another spin-off, titled In The City, is coming later this year.
The series will follow original Summer House cast members Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, and Lindsay Hubbard as they navigate adult life in New York City.
However, Hersh has teased that In The City may be turned into its own separate franchise instead of being another Summer House spin-off.

'We are looking into the possibility of having the cast that does not come from a Summer House, but starts as an In The City,' Hersh said.
'Because once that becomes a form in and of itself, it can travel as its own distinct format and style that doesn’t necessarily have to be birthed by a Summer House.'
Meanwhile, the tenth season of Summer House just premiered on Bravo to its highest debut ratings ever, proving that there's plenty of life left in the show.
In addition to new iterations of Summer House in different locations, a spin-off starring some of the original cast members called In The City is premiering soon
Vanderpump Rules, which was recently rebooted, is also believed to be returning for another season
Outside of Summer House, Vanderpump Rules is rumored to be returning for another season according to a report from TMZ.

The long-running series, produced by 32 Flavors, was recently rebooted with an entirely new cast for its twelfth season.
The reboot has been a success so far and had the biggest premiere for a new series on Bravo last year.
The season twelve cast are all expected to return, along with the addition of some fresh faces.
Vanderpump Rules spin-off The Valley is also returning for its third season on April 1, while The Valley: Persian Style is currently nearing the end of its first season.
