The former star has been announced as the latest host to fill in the KIIS FM breakfast radio slot left vacant by the cancellation of The Kyle and Jackie O Show earlier this year.
Sharing a newspaper clip that teased 'another breakfast host' joining the show, the 44-year-old was quick to confirm she was the mystery star in question.
'Not just "yet another". This one's me!' Melissa wrote on Instagram.
'Thrilled to be back on the air and in your ears as your guest host! See you next week on @kiis1065! Tell your mum!'
Melissa's famous friends were quick to offer support, flooding her comments section with promises to listen in.

It's good news for Melissa, who in May endured the shock axing of her comeback SBS series, Taste of Art.

The show was sensationally dropped by SBS last week hours before its scheduled premiere after Melissa's co-host chef Vaughan Mabee became embroiled in a workplace misconduct scandal.
Posting to Instagram, Melissa expressed her 'great disappointment' over the circumstances that led to her new project being binned.
A source that SBS's decision to axe Taste of Art is a serious career setback for Melissa.
'This was supposed to be an important reset project for Melissa,' they said.
