Adam Hydes Rant: Threatened After Viral Video
Adam Hyde has lashed out over a video that went viral last year, which showed him and girlfriend Abbie Chatfield lash 'Nazi' protesters. The video, which first ...
The video, which first emerged in September, showed Hyde, 35, and Chatfield, 31, take aim at members of the National Socialist Network who clashed with demonstrators at Camp Sovereignty, an Aboriginal protest site, in King's Domain in August last year.
The clip is again doing the rounds, and the musician, who performs under the moniker Keli Holiday, responded to the 'threats and harassment' he has endured as a result in a lengthy rant shared on .
'For some time now I've been targeted by a deliberate weaponisation and misrepresentation of something I said almost a year ago that needs to be clarified,' the statement begins.
'I'm addressing this now because since coming home from tour, people I love have been threatened, harassed and verbally abused in public and it's now become a safety issue not only for me, but for those around me.'
'I've seen people claiming that I "wish death" upon "anyone who disagrees with me", that I have told "Everyday Australians" to "kill themselves", or have even threatened to harm people,' Hyde continued.

'These are defamatory and entirely untrue claims against me.
'The video that has been circulating has been edited, recontextualized and is missing the pivotal context of who I'm actually addressing.
'In reality, the context of my quote was in direct response to a group of people alleged to be neo-Nazis for the unprovoked attack on the Indigenous protest site Camp Sovereignty on August 31 2025. A group that was officially added to the proscribed hate group list by the Australian Government.'
Referring to the March For Australia anti-immigration demonstrations held in September, Hyde went on: 'This wasn't directed to "everyday Australians" nor was this addressed to everyone at the "March for Australia" and certainly not aimed at people who simply disagree with me.

'The wording I chose was far from eloquent and reacting in such a manner is not conducive to anything positive. I take full accountability for that, however, I believe this is critical context as to what and who the comments were in regards to.
'My actual words from the original video below: "There's indigenous people that have been hurt after a bunch of f**king Nazi losers ran through a camp. How the f**k is that trying to 'reclaim Australia'? I mean, you just all got f**king pea brains, tiny d*cks and dumb, numb skulls, you f**king idiots. Don't procreate, just die, you don't belong here, you racist f**ks. You're all losers. Grow up".'
He concluded: 'If you're mad at me for being viscerally frustrated, heartbroken and disappointed that in Australia in 2025 there were groups of people reported to be neo-Nazis storming peaceful innocent protest camps and severely harming innocent Australians for no reason, then by all means be mad at me.'
In early September, Peking Duk frontman Hyde and podcaster Chatfield were widely slammed after going on a wild rant over the Camp Sovereignty protests.
In the viral video, Abbie tarred all attendees with the same brush, branding them 'f***ing losers.'

She then brought Adam into frame and said: 'All of you pieces of s**t who won't listen to an adult woman because you call me hysterical, here is an adult man that will talk to you.'
Adam also pulled no punches, going on an expletive-laden rant, telling those who crashed the rallies to 'die'.

'You are an immigrant yourself, this is not our land. It doesn't take a genius to know that, but you're so far from that,' he said.
'To think that you're protesting against immigrants, that's not what's going on here. This is flat out racism and anyone that denies that is a f***ing racist.'
Adam then suggested that anyone who attended the protests needed to be locked up.
'You belong in jail,' he said.
'You're all bigots and pieces of s***. You're a stain on this country and you shouldn't represent this country at all.'
Not finished with his tirade, Adam

'You all have f***ing pea brains. Don't procreate, just die,' Hyde said
'Unfortunately, this country is rooted and upheld within racism so it's very on brand. You're all scum and you need to do better,' he said.

Adam rounded off his rant with a disturbing comment.
'You all have f***ing pea brains. Don't procreate, just die,' he said.
The post generated a deluge of criticism on social media, with many taking to X to slam the couple.
'According to Abbie and her boyfriend, if you protest against immigration you "belong in jail or worse" – these people genuinely belong in an asylum,' one user wrote.
Another chimed in with: 'Abbie Chatfield to tell patriotic Australians that they should all kill themselves for daring to want a country. Extremely mentally ill.'
One more said the pair were no better than the 'white supremacists' that they were apparently railing against.
