is on a mission to land his fourth No1  after releasing his first new music in 11 years.

Yet he may have some competition on his hands going forward, as eldest son Junior, 20, is also in the music business and his hoping to emulate his father's success.

Speaking to Daily Mail following the release of his 12th album, Legacy, Peter, 53, said: 'I won't stop, whether it's this album, the next album or the one after that. I won't stop until I get a No1 now because that's my goal.'

As for whether a collaboration with Junior could be on the cards, Peter mused: 'When he's ready. He's brilliant.'

Back in 2022, Junior released his debut single Slide, which hit No1 in the UK's iTunes pop chart, while his follow-up track Only One also bagged the top spot a year later.

Now Peter is back in the charts with Rock You Right, and All About Us 2.0, singles from Legacy, a celebratory album marking 30 years since his breakthrough hit, Mysterious Girl.

Peter Andre revealed his collaboration plans with son Junior in an exclusive chat with Daily Mail as he returns with new album Legacy in a mission to clinch another No1 single

Back in 2022, Junior released his debut single Slide, which hit No1 in the UK's iTunes pop chart, while his follow-up track Only One also bagged the top spot a year later

So of course, he couldn't be prouder of the fact his son is following in his footsteps.

Revealing the advice he gave him about the industry, Peter shared: 'When he first got into recording at around 15, he wanted to start recording and I said to him, "you have to be a songwriter."

'It's like learning a trade. You can always write for other people, even if it doesn't work out for yourself or if you don't want to sing anymore.

'And now he's written well over 200 songs. He's such an incredible talent, both singing and rapping.

'My daughter Princess has got an incredible voice, but I'm not really sure what she wants to do on that side of things.

'But Junior definitely, I think watch this space. What he's got when it comes to music... They are both very talented.'

Now though, it's Peter who can be heard on the airwaves.

The 13-track collection on Legacy includes 10 of his iconic hits re-sung, re-imagined and remastered, as well as three new tunes - Rock You Right, Close To You, featuring Oritsè Williams, and Island Girl.

Legacy also includes collaborations with artists such as Montell Jordan, Brian McKnight, Kenny Thomas, Lady Leshurr, Bubbla Ranx, and Oritsé Williams.

It's an album he hopes will appeal to all ages, with Peter revealing his children were big fans of his material.

'Millie, my 12 year old daughter, had Flava, which was the number one in 1996, on her playlist, the original. So I've played her the new version and because I've changed it a little bit she loves it!'

While the world know Peter's eldest children Princess and Junior because of their appearances on his reality show with ex-wife Katie Price, Peter and wife Emily have kept their three children private.

The couple, who married in 2015, share Millie, eight-year-old Theo, and Arabella, two.

Yet as they grow older, Peter revealed he and Emily have been debating given fans more of a glimpse into their family life after being offered several opportunities.

While the world know Peter's eldest children Princess and Junior, Peter and wife Emily kept their three children Millie, Theo and Arabella private, but that could soon be about to change

LEGACY includes 10 of Peter's iconic hits re-sung, re-imagined and remastered, as well as three new tunes, and is available to purchase, download and stream now

'In a few years Millie is going to finally wanting to show her face,' Peter mused. 'It's not going to be long before that happens.

'We've thought about doing a family podcast, a YouTube channel... it'd be hard to do that now, but in a couple of years time maybe.'

For now, Peter is focusing on the reaction to his new album and the upcoming Legacy tour.

'I haven't done my own tour for what, 10 years? It's been other shows, a bit of acting, a bit of music and presenting.

'We do gigs all over the world but I haven't done my own tour, and that's what I'm looking forward to. And I'm so excited about the album.

'So learn the lyrics, because you’re going to be singing every one of them with me on tour.'
