Matty Healy to Marry Gabbriette Bechtel This Weekend

is reportedly set to marry his girlfriend Gabbriette Bechtel this weekend in a glitzy ceremony.

The 1975 singer, 37, and the model, 28, announced their engagement in 2024 after a whirlwind nine-month romance.

Sources are now claiming that despite plans to keep their wedding low-key, they will tie the knot in a lavish celebration at one of Hollywood's most iconic locations.

Invitations for the wedding do not provide an exact wedding venue, but it's thought that Matty and GaBbriette were considering celebrity haunt Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, or even renting out 's home for the wedding.

However, it seems that Matty's rock n'roll appearance may need a clean-up for the moment he becomes a married man, as GaBbriette has reportedly implemented an Old Hollywood-inspired dress code. 

Matty's mum and his dad reportedly flew to the US last week for last-minute preparations, and guests are set to include his The 1975 bandmates, Charli XCX and former Radio 1 star .

A source told The Sun: 'Matty and Gabbriette's wedding is going to be far glitzier than fans probably expected. 

'It's bigger than they were first planning but they've been trying to keep details under wraps.'

Matty celebrated his stag party last weekend with a watch party for England's World Cup victory over Norway, followed by another party with his bandmates earlier this week.

Denise has also shared social media snaps of herself partying with Nick and his fiance Meshach Henry ahead of her son's wedding, with the caption: 'Surrounded by my fans... sorry, fan!'

Last month, Gabbriette shared snaps of her Las Vegas hen do in a white bejewelled bra and matching pants, before changing into a bridal-inspired boucle suit.

The star later changed into a stylish white suit jacket and figure-hugging skirt as she posed beside huge 'Mrs Healy' balloons.

Flaunting her abs in a tiny white strapless top and mini skirt, Gabbriette snapped a mirror selfie with her friend who held a large sign with Matty's face on it.

Guests at the bachelorette also received T-shirts which read: 'I survived Gabbriette's bachelorette Las Vegas 2026'.

According to The Sun, Matty and Gabbriette have already splashed out more than £100,000 on flights to fly their nearest and dearest out to California for the celebrations.

A source told the publication: 'Matty and Gabbriette want this to be the wedding of their dreams and there will be absolutely no expense spared.

'They are desperate for it to be special for all of their loved ones from start to finish, hence why they have spent so much money just to get them there.

'They’re so excited and certainly know how to party as well. It’s going to be amazing.'

Matty proposed to Gabbriette after a whirlwind nine-month romance and presented her with a large dark rock.

The pair have been linked since September 2023, following Healy's split from Taylor Swift that June, when they were spotted enjoying a steamy PDA in New York City.

Before his mother, Denise Welch, confirmed the news on Loose Women, Gabbriette heavily hinted that she was set to marry the 1975 singer.

Denise, who first met Gabbriette five months into the romance, gushed: 'We couldn't be happier. She is everything I would want in a daughter in law.'

The Loose Women star explained that the couple had broken the news to their loved ones 'a few weeks' prior.

'I have known for a few weeks that Matty got engaged,' she told her co-stars. 'They went over to see their friends Charli and George in New York.'

'I woke up this morning to the fact they’ve put it on Instagram. Instagram official, he has got engaged to Gabbriette. She is from Los Angeles, she is absolutely gorgeous,' before bizarrely adding: 'She does have a rat.'

The proud mum revealed that Matty had the distinctive ring custom-made, gushing: 'Black diamond, he had it made for her, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.'

The singer and model sparked engagement rumours after she posted a picture on Instagram of her wearing a £10,000 black diamond ring on her wedding finger.

To add to the speculation, Gabbriette tagged Matty's social media account and wrote: 'MARRYING THE 1975 IS VERY B*** @trumanblack'
