has shared rare insight into his relationship with his long-term girlfriend Vikki, after she joined his antiques business so they could spend 'more quality time together.'

The comedian, 54, has been dating the art gallery owner for three years, and this year she's begun working at his shop in Cheshire, which features on the Quest show Johnny Vegas' Little Shop Of Antiques.

Johnny has now shared that despite fears around working with his partner, it's been 'great' having her in the shop with him.

The Benidorm star was previously married to Kitty Donnelly from 2002 to 2008, and they share a grown-up son Michael.

He then wed Maia Dunphy in 2011, before they divorced in 2020. They are parents to son Tom, 11.

Johnny said: 'They say never work with your partner, but it's great. She and Bev make fun of me most of the time.'

The star added that he hasn't intentionally kept his partner out of the spotlight.

He told The Times: 'I wasn't keeping it under cover, but I don't share much about it on social media.'

During the interview, Johnny admitted much of his decision to pursue a new career path came after stand-up comedy 'took its toll.'

He added: 'Stand-up was great, but it was manic. The nerves took their toll. Never say never, but I just see that as a project that needs to rest.'

Johnny previously credited his older son for helping him to turn his life around, as he used to go on 'four-day benders'.

He previously said: 'When you have a child, it's suddenly that feeling of, "I need to be around now and I want to be around."

'It's not about you and in a great way that pulls you back from the abyss.'

The stand-up legend also spoke about how finding out he has ADHD has influenced his successful career.

Adults with ADHD may have trouble sticking to tasks, concentrating on work, paying attention to others, and remembering obligations.

Discussing being diagnosed at the age of 52, Johnny was asked whether he thinks his stage persona would still exist without his ADHD.

He told Loaded: 'I think he would have, he came from a different place, he was more of a defence mechanism,' as he noted the differences between Johnny and Michael.

However, he noted that it has actually helped his art, adding: 'ADHD can be hindering with decision-making, timekeeping, and certain anxieties.

'It works well with art as you're never short of ideas, it's like catching butterflies - which one will I catch next?'
