The latest appearances cement the nepo-baby daughters as two of fashion's most talked-about young faces.

Kai has enjoyed a whirlwind few months after making her runway debut for Valentino,

Speaking to Interview Magazine, Kai said she had struggled 'with gender identity from a young age' and had 'always wanted to grow up and be a beautiful, glamorous, influential woman, like Marilyn Monroe.

'I'm always going to look up to the older generation of transgender people, especially in fashion,' she said.

'People like Alex Consani, Hunter Schafer, Hari Nef, Dara, Richie Shazam, Colin Jones, and so many more.

'It's so great that there's a strong community of us in the fashion world; it's really a doll takeover.'

Kai has long been supported by her mother Naomi Watts as she embarks on her modelling career

She also revealed she had been preparing for the moment long before landing her first major runway booking.

'I've been practicing my walks in the kitchen for years; my mum can show you all the videos I forced her to film,' Kai said.

The aspiring model added that while her everyday wardrobe is relatively understated, she believes personal style is what makes fashion exciting.

'I love my low-rise jeans and black cardigan. That's my go-to outfit. I love when people have their own personal style.

'If you're presenting yourself in a unique, cool way, people are immediately drawn in and want to know more. If every person was walking around in the same outfit, fashion wouldn't be a thing.'

Kai's famous parents have both publicly supported her journey.

Her father Liev Schreiber previously said the most significant moment came when Kai asked the family to begin using different pronouns.

'Kai was always who Kai is,' he said.

'But I suppose the most profound moment was her asking us to change her pronouns.

'To be honest with you, it didn't feel like that big of a deal to me only because Kai had been so feminine for so long.'

He added: 'Kai is such a fighter. It's important that she goes, "Hey, I am trans," and, "Look at me."'

Naomi also praised her daughter following her Interview Magazine feature, writing on Instagram that Kai was 'continuing to kill it' and that she was 'proud' of her.
