Marty Fox Addresses Hosting Rumors After Cam Exits

Scott Cam's future as the face of The Block has been thrown into fresh doubt after judge Marty Fox admitted he would 'never say never' to taking over hosting duties on a suggested celebrity version of the hit renovation series.

The Whitefox founder has emerged as a contender to front a potential Celebrity Block after

Cam has already ruled himself out of hosting the spin-off.

'I would not want to do a celebrity Block,' the veteran presenter previously said.

'Not on my watch. The next bloke might do it.'

Now Fox has addressed speculation he could be that 'next bloke'.

'The Block is one of the biggest shows in the country, so when people mention your name in that conversation, of course it feels strange,' Fox told realestate.com.au.

'But I understand why people connect those dots. Real estate, renovation, media, agents, developers, vendors, buyers, that is my world every day.

'Would I look at something like that if the right opportunity came up? I might.'

The comments come as Nine continues preparations for the franchise's upcoming Mount Eliza season,

Although he refused to rule out a bigger television role, Fox stressed his priority remains growing his luxury real estate agency Whitefox rather than chasing onscreen opportunities.

'The business is the main game,' he said.

'The media is powerful because it gives you reach, but reach only matters if there is substance behind it.'

Fox's comments come as Whitefox reaches another major milestone, with the company now holding more than $2.5 billion worth of active and pipeline property listings across Australia, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates.
