CASA AMOR SHATTERS CONNECTIONS AND DESTROYS SEASON SIX COUPLE
The connections forged inside the villa during season six were unable to survive the infamous Casa Amor.
The mid-season temptation allows the couples a chance to meet new people in a setting called Casa Amor - and see if they really want to be with their partners, who remain at the villa and must watch footage of their lovers possibly straying.
Many of the season six relationships crumbled as a result of Casa Amor, including a couple who had been together since the start of the show - Serena Page and Kordell Beckham.
Video of Beckham getting hot and heavy with Casa Amor bombshell Daia McGhee outraged Page, and she chose to be single.
Beckham returned to the villa, hand in hand with McGhee, and was confronted by Page over what she saw.
'Some of that has been [taken] out of context,' Beckham insisted of the footage.
'There's nothing taken out of context,' Page replied. 'The dry humping was very clear.'

RACISM SCANDALS
Multiple contestants have been removed from the show following the discovery of past racist remarks.
Contestants Cierra Ortega and Yulissa Escobar were both axed from season seven after fans unearthed past racist statements.
Escobar was released from the show off camera during the second episode, before the rest of the contestants woke up for the day.
Ortega's parents also addressed the scandal following her removal, calling for an end to the 'threats', 'cruel messages' and 'attacks' on her friends, family, and supporters - while also acknowledging the hurt her messages had caused.
'We're not here to justify or ignore what's surfaced. We understand why people are upset, and we know accountability matters. But what's happening online right now has gone far beyond that.'
Vasana Montgomery was also cast on season eight but was dropped following the surfacing of videos allegedly showing her saying the N-word.

'MAMACITA' MOMENT
Nic Vansteenberghe achieved meme status after fellow islander Huda Mustafa revealed to him she had a daughter back home - confusing him and resulting in his now viral 'Mamacita' quote.
The misunderstanding occurred on season seven of Love Island USA, after Mustafa attempted to tell Vansteenberghe about her daughter.
'All the girls know, Jeremiah knows, but you have to promise me you're not going to say anything to the other guys 'cause it's not their business, but I'm a mommy,' she begins.
The message apparently didn't sink in right away. 'Mommy?' Vansteenberghe replied.
'I'm a mom,' she repeated.
The exchange continued for several moments, with a perplexed Nic even asking at one point, 'A mom of what? A dog?'
'Mamacita,' he said.
'No, I'm a mommy,' she said.
'A mom of what? A dog?' he asked.
'I have a daughter,' she said before finally confirming she is the mother of a 'human child.'
Unbeknownst to Vansteenberghe at the time, the hilarious moment became a sensation outside of the villa.
'It was surprising coming out of the villa not knowing that that was the thing and a lot of pregnant women come up to me, and want me to say it. It's kind of funny,' he told The Daily Mail at Clarins' Sugar & Shine Galentine's Affair in February.
The misunderstanding stemmed from islander Huda Mustafa attempting to reveal to Nic that she is in fact a mother
