Kellie Finlayson Shines in Gown Amid Cancer Battle

Kellie Finlayson looked incredible as she attended the Glamour on the Grid in on Wednesday ahead of the Australian Grand Prix this weekend.

The AFL WAG, who has been battling terminal bowel  for four years, turned heads in a gold strapless gown that featured a dramatic train and intricate beading.

The frock's hue complemented her deep tan and she accessorised with a pair of dainty diamond earrings. 

Wearing her hair in a bun with loose waves framing her face, Kellie chose a bronzed makeup look, which featured smoky eyeliner, along with a mauve lipstick.

Kellie posted several photos of herself having a ball at the event and said it was her first time attending the star-studded bash.  

'Glamour on the grid debut,' an ecstatic Kellie gushed in the caption.

She posted a second gallery of snaps cuddling up to her handsome husband, former Port Adelaide player Jeremy Finlayson.

The pair joined a long list of celebrities for the Formula 1 event, including Bec Judd, AFL star Josh Daicos and his fiancée Annalise Dalins, and designer Nadia Bartel.

The fair-haired beauty had just given birth to her daughter, Sophia, in 2021 when she experienced symptoms that were at first put down to the pains of new motherhood.

'Being a new mum, a lot of things felt off,' Kellie said at the time.

'I was tired, I had pains in my stomach, my bowel movements had changed, and I was losing weight - all very 'normal' symptoms for a new mum.'

But then she spotted blood in her stools.

'After a few days of it occurring regularly, Jeremy told me to go see a doctor to see if it was still normal, and to stop relying on Dr Google,' she said.
