The Bronx-born superstar, 56, was seen riding the NYC subway on Tuesday, surprising straphangers as she sat covered up in a coat and black baseball cap.
It's believed to be years since the ex-wife of has taken the train, but the multi-millionaire wasn't looking for a cheap ride through the Big Apple.
Rather, the singer was being interviewed by Kareem Rahma for his internet talk show SubwayTakes.

The popular viral series sees Rahma and a small crew cram onto the subway for quick interviews with celebrities. Lopez joined the team on the F train to promote her new film Office Romance.
The star famously named her 1999 debut album On The 6 - a nod to how she used to take the number 6 train from her home in the Bronx to midtown Manhattan for work before she became famous.

The last time she rode the subway was five years ago.
But that too was a stunt as she headed to her performance at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC.
The Jenny From The Block singer was dressed up in a frothy tulle skirt with a structured Balmain blazer as she larked around on the subway, where the entire train was littered with posters for her JLo Beauty line.
Lopez shared a stunning video showing her strutting through the secluded train carriage while sporting the dazzling get-up for the outing.
But there were no regular people around her as her train must have been cleared out.
She added a caption on the video reading: 'Last night was so surreal!!!! I was riding the 6 and S trains to Times Square for a lil video we did for the show tonight. The whole train had all the #JLOBEAUTY posters ...
'And I was overwhelmed thinking about that lil girl who used to read magazines on that very same train!! It was a moment where I felt so incredibly grateful for this journey and all of you!!...'

In 2021 Lopez was back On The 6 as she headed to her performance at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. The move was a pre-planned stunt
The mother of two is generally out of touch with everyday modes of transportation as she often is chauffeured in large black SUVs with bodyguards.
In 2017 she made headlines when she appeared on The Daily Show With Trevor Noah and guessed that a subway ride cost $1.75.
The singer was caught a little off guard when the host asked, 'Do you still know the subway?' She replied, 'Yeah, I know.' Noah then followed up with, 'Do you even know how much a subway ticket costs?' Lopez said, 'I started riding the subway when it was 50 cents, it went to 75, maybe the last time, it was like, $1.75?'
When it was revealed that the subway cost $2.75 at the time, Lopez was visibly embarrassed. She turned red when Trevor joked, 'J. Lo, $2.75! You're a dollar removed from your fans, J. Lo!'
A standard one-way subway ride in NYC is now $3.00.
Lopez has included images of the New York subway in her work: she filmed the music video for Amor, Amor, Amor on the subway and used a full-scale 6 Train prop train for the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
