has shared a tearful selfie as she opened up about casual sex and 'intense rejection.'

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Helen, 35, shared a series of snaps describing 'things I experience as an  woman'.

In one snap where she posed in lingerie, she penned: 'When it comes to sex, I'm not a casual girl. I'm a lover girl/wifey, and I do get attached.

'I think guys that ghost girls after sleeping with them are big fat rats LOL.'

This was followed by a tearful selfie, with text that said: 'Last time I had proper feelings for someone, it just felt a lot. Intense.

'My friends say I'm like Cathy Earnshaw in Wuthering Heights LOL.

Helen Flanagan has opened up about casual sex and 'intense rejection' in a new post on Instagram on Monday

The actress, 35, shares kids Matilda, ten, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, five, with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair

'I get limerence, [an involuntary, intense psychological state of romantic obsession] and I always get terrible rejection sensitivity, but I'm learning to deal with that better.'

The actress shares kids Matilda, ten, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, five, with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair.

Helen split from professional footballer Scott in 2022 after 13 years together and then moved on with construction worker Robbie, 45, but they split in May 2025.

The star also shared a snap with her first boyfriend in her latest post, writing: 'I've always been a romantic and been boy mad since I would say 14 LOL.

'This was my first boyfriend, Danny. I moved in with him when I was 17, and he could drive. It's always very intense, and I fall in love hard.

'Doesn't mean that it's not genuine, as at the time it is. My second boyfriend was my kids' dad, who I was with for 13 years, and I had his name tattooed at 19 LOL.'

In another selfie posing with a glass of wine, she penned: 'Addictions are more common with people with ADHD. I don't have a problem with alcohol but I got unhealthy habits when I separated from the father of my kids.

'To deal with the stress with the three kids on my own and when I felt sad, I numbed it. Much healthier with alcohol now.

She also opened up about addiction, noting that addictions are much more common with people with ADHD

'Drug addiction is something close to my heart, as someone very close to me has struggled, and I know how it can just ruin your life and the heartbreak for those that love them.

'I don't judge people, and I have empathy.'

Opening up about being a mother with ADHD, she said: 'As a mum I also get overstimulated. Especially when there are too many sounds at once.

'I swear a lot when I'm frustrated, which I know isn't great. I'm not the most organised, but one way or another I always make sure everything is perfect for the kids.

'I also think at least one out of my three children is neurodivergent.'

Earlier this month, Helen said that she's struggling with being out of work and has been left feeling 'unsure' of herself after being forced to move out of her family home.

The former actress recently sold the home she shared with her ex Scott and is now trying to figure out her next move.

The Daily Mail revealed that the Lancashire property eventually sold for £945,000 after it was originally put up for sale for £1.5million.

Now Helen is between homes and took to her Instagram Story on Monday morning to reflect on her career and her next steps forward.

She said in the video: 'I don't know, I've just kind of felt like… I've not really been sure of myself recently.

'I kind of feel like… I'm turning 36 in August, I've just done this house move, I'm kind of unsure where I am like career wise as well.

'There's a lot of change going on and I don't know, I've just felt a bit weird in myself.'

Of where she wants to settle next, she said: 'I'm in two minds about moving to London. I was going to buy here then I decided not to buy here so everything's just been a bit, like, all over the place.

'I've just felt frustrated with work as well because I really want to act and basically, I just want a job at the moment and feel frustrated in that way.'

She also said that recently she hasn't 'felt creative' with her social media work and said posting has been making her feel 'anxious'.

At the end of last month Helen said she was struggling in the heatwave as she moved out of the house her and Scott shared with their three children.

She took to Instagram to say she was struggling in the high temperatures as the UK battled one of its worst heatwaves in history.

Sweating in her black gym gear in the social media clip she penned: 'Moving house in a heatwave' along with a crying laughing emoji.

They began the process of moving out of the house in May and it is not known if Helen has been in temporary accommodation or renting since.

Helen's reps were contacted by The Daily Mail for comment.

Recently she made a thinly-veiled dig about her ex-fiancé Scott as she said goodbye to the home.

She shared a video with their three children – Matilda, ten, Delilah, seven and son Charlie, five - as they prepared to leave.

However, in a jibe at Scott, 37, Helen declared it had 'always been just us four' - despite the footballer having lived at the home too.

She wrote in the caption: 'Saying goodbye to our beautiful home (Charlie obviously playing up).

Ex Corrie actress Helen and footballer Scott were together for 13 years before their break-up in 2022

'It's always been just us, just us 4. I feel like I really found myself in this house and it's been special.

'There are no words for how much I love you babies and I will always teach you about what is important in life and what's not and about having morals and integrity and living your lives authentically and being true to yourselves.

'My relationships with all 3 of them will always be my priority and always will be to my last breath.

'There is nothing I wouldn't do for you 3 x Mummy's always got it, always x.'

Chelsee Healey wrote in the comments: 'the best mummy', while Stephanie Davis typed: 'Proud of you'.

It came after a source claimed that the actress and footballer were at war over furniture with things between them turning 'toxic' and Helen now refusing to speak to her former partner.

'Helen is fuming because the sofa was knackered, the kids ripped it and smeared lipstick all over it, so she spent a fortune having it reupholstered, so rightly believes it's now hers.

'She feels Scott is just being difficult for the sake of it. Helen even tried to sell the sofa on her Instagram for £3,950, but Scott saw the post and said: 'hold on, that's mine, I'm coming to get it', she hit back and said: 'well no, it's mine''.

They went on to tell The Sun: 'Helen said she wasn't planning to talk to Scott or even look him in the eye, things between them are still toxic. All the conversations about moving and the furniture have mostly been over email.'

Daily Mail contacted Helen and Scott's representatives for comment.

After their split in 2022, Helen had apparently wanted to stay in the home however, it was put up for sale for £1.5million in May last year, before being reduced to £1.195million and later just £995,000.

The property is now finally marked as sold on Rightmove.

Land Registry records show the house was snapped up by a couple who run a property management company for just £945,000.

Agents Miller Metcalfe said of the house: 'An exceptional and beautifully presented detached family residence, offering over 5,000 sq. ft of luxurious living space.

'This bespoke home enjoys a commanding position on the edge of the moors, with breathtaking views across reservoirs and open countryside.

'Set on a generous, secure plot with gated access, the property features a sweeping driveway leading to a double garage, and is surrounded by well-manicured gardens - perfect for al fresco dining and entertaining.

'Spread over three floors, this home effortlessly combines character, quality, and modern lifestyle.'

The entrance hall has floor to ceiling windows, there is an open plan living area, a 'showpiece' kitchen and a generous breakfast bar.

Additional living spaces include a formal dining room, five further reception rooms, six bedrooms and six bathrooms, including two-bedroom suites with their own private living rooms and en-suite shower rooms.

Actress Helen and footballer Scott were together for 13 years before their break-up in 2022.

It has been somewhat acrimonious - not least because of the pair's living arrangements.

A friend of Helen's previously said: 'Scott pays for the house and all the bills and he's decided a six-bedroom place is way too big for Helen on her own with the kids.

'But Helen doesn't want to move and is digging her heels in. She loves the place, the kids are settled at the local school and her mum and dad live around the corner.

'Scott wants to buy Helen a four-bedroom home. He's even offered to put it in her name but wants to stop the maintenance payments.

'The relationship has completely broken down. They no longer communicate - everything goes through her parents.'

Helen also put much of her own money into renovating the property, with parts of it redecorated and remodeled.

More recently, she said she had made peace with the move as there was a 'sadness' in the house, which was supposed to be the couple's forever family home.
