'For 25 years I've worked as an actress. Life and the industry have changed, and so have I.
'I'm navigating perimenopause, motherhood, business and trying to look after myself.
'I've learnt that wellness isn't about perfection. It's about the things that help us feel like ourselves again...

'And this is what I'll be sharing more of here.'
Alongside the post, she opened up more, writing: 'At 43, a mum of 2, I am finding my way through this New Chapter….
'Navigating my way through perimenopause, not to mention the silent load of motherhood, add on work, the self tapes that seem to lead to rejection a lot more these days, taking care of my home, trying to build my business, keeping up with the WhatsApp groups, taxi-ing the kids here there and everywhere, never mind the food shopping, cooking, cleaning…. And after all that, I am trying to take care of myself…. But it's not always easy and I don't always have the time, and when I don't find time to fill my cup up, even a little bit, wow do I feel it!!!?
'I get seriously overwhelmed, I struggle to control or even understand my emotions….
'This is real life, midlife, growth, wellness and everything in between. If you've been feeling the same recently, just know you are not alone.'

Earlier this year, Lucy-Jo announced her engagement to boyfriend Lewis Devine after eight years of 'ups and downs.'
Sharing a series of images, she posed for a loved-up photo with her new fiancé before enjoying a glass of champagne.
Lucy-Jo captioned the post: 'I’m still on cloud nine. Eight years, our blended family, and a moment I never saw coming.
'Lew has had this planned for months... and I had no idea….

'He took me back to the Lakes, where some of our first memories began.
'We spent the day reminiscing, just us, walking through the most beautiful quiet gardens with no one else around.
'We talked about our kids, our future, how far we’ve come and then Lew just held me tight, telling me about how much he loves our kids, and how he can’t imagine doing life without me... and then suddenly, he was on one knee.'
