The Radio One DJ, 40, recently revealed that his father Alan Milward was 'fighting hard' after suffering a stroke and revealed he's 'not really there at the minute'.
Alan, who Greg is very close to, suffered a stroke during a planned heart operation, and Greg cancelled his show earlier this month to be with his family.
In a new Instagram post on Monday, Greg confirmed his father is now out of the hospital.
Greg did not specify if his parent has made a full recovery, but did state that his return home was good news.
Alan and Greg are very close and regularly go to the cricket together. Alan has even co-hosted his Radio 1 show with him.

The Radio One DJ recently revealed that his father Alan Milward was 'fighting hard' after suffering a stroke and revealed he's 'not really there at the minute'
The duo took part in a GQ interview in 2019 and Alan talked about how proud he is of his son.
He said: ‘He used to wake up at about 4am, and I spent many, many, many early hours with him resting across my chest trying to get him to sleep.
'But clearly it didn’t work because his first slot on Radio 1 was at 4am.’
Greg's news comes after he raised an incredible £4million for Comic Relief after completing his mammoth 1,000km bike challenge last month.
He cycled for eight days on a tandem bicycle, and was surprised by family and friends along the way, including Prince William.
And just a day after his achievement, Greg recovered in the best way possible, appearing live on BBC Breakfast the following morning - from his bathtub.
Greeting the presenters live from his bubble bath, Greg's head popped out from a mountain of bubbles as he admitted he was 'genuinely blown away'.

Discussing how he is feeling after the challenge, he said: 'I am trying to steady myself today, I feel all over the place in a good way.'

Greg's father Alan sadly could not be at Murrayfield Stadium to see his son cross the finish line.
Greg said at the time though: 'It’s nice to be home and I’ll pop and see my dad in a bit. He was listening and watching and very excited I had done it.'
