Goggleboxs Roisin Kelly Splits from Joe Kyle

Gogglebox star Roisin Kelly has hinted at her split from boyfriend Joe Kyle just months after they were axed from the show. 

The former couple joined the series in February 2022 before it was revealed last year that they wouldn't be returning for series 26.

Taking to Instagram on Monday Roision implied she was newly single with a slew of lighthearted snaps as she did her best to look on the bright side.

One photo showed her holding an envelope with the words 'an antidote for a broken heart' before picking up a book titled ‘Women Who Love Too Much’.

She also shared a snap of a bottle of wine and packet of cigarettes before captioning the post: 'Well table for 1 it is then girls!'.

Seemingly poking fun at her Gogglebox exit she added hashtag #brutallyaxedagain, as fans and friends rushed to the comments to offer their support.

They said: 'If gogglebox didn’t know your worth what can be said about a BOY': 'Icon. Hot. Lovely jubbly. No more losers': 'Best chapter yet my gal': 'You should come live in Toronto. we'll mend that broken heart'.

Daily Mail have contacted Roisin for further comment.  

Last year she lifted the lid on why they were asked to leave the show - and shut down rumours of behind-the-scenes drama. 

Roisin also made a play for her and Joe to star on another BBC show as she revealed her desire to be cast on Race Across The World. 

The pair shared the news of their exit on  in July, which left viewers absolutely heartbroken. 

Roisin said in a statement posted on her page: 'After three and a half years of sitting on the sofa Channel 4 have decided it's time for Joe and I to stretch out legs and have not asked us back for season 26.

'Therefore we are

'We couldn't be more grateful to Studio Lambert for the opportunity, the experience has actually been so mad and we will miss watching TV with you all on Friday nights!'

'It's been an honour to represent Scotland as some of the first Scottish people on the show and prove we don't actually need subtitles.'

She added: 'A special shout out to our crew of past and present, Jason, Ayse, Rich, Eilish, Ewan, Evie, Seve, David, Stef, AJ and Odin. 

'Also to Harriet for always answering the phone, anytime of the day or night. We have made friends for life and after filming every week for years, you have become like our family!

'We could not have asked for better people to work with and we will miss you immensely.

'A huge thank you to everyone who has watched us, met us, and supported us during this experience, it for sure has been a once in a lifetime opportunity. Time to watch TV in silence for a bit and put down the popcorn.

'Miss you already, Roisin and Joe x x x.'
