Geena Davis, 70, Stuns in Low-Cut Dress!

displayed her age-defying appearance in a daring low-cut gown as she hosted the 's prestigious amfAR gala on Thursday.

The actress, 70, cut an elegant figure in her stunning off-the-shoulder gown with a dramatic draped skirt.

Geena showcased her showstopping look as she arrived for the event, before taking to the stage as the host of proceedings.

The black-tie event is the main fundraiser for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research and typically raises millions of euros during the night. 

Key items at auction include a walk-on role in Emily in Paris series six and an Arctic expedition. 

Over the past 30 years, the highly-exclusive event has raised a total of over $265million for AIDS Research, with a huge $17million raked in last year alone. 

Geena got her start in acting with a small role as a soap opera star in the 1982 movie Tootsie, starring Dustin Hoffman.

Last week she was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, where she told host Andy Cohen about the role: 'It was my first thing I auditioned for and I got it.

'I'd never been on a set, and I thought, "Maybe there's some special movie acting that I never learned." So, I was a little concerned about it.'

Following Tootsie, she went on to appear in the 1986 science-fiction horror The Fly with then-beau Jeff Goldblum.

Then she appeared in Beetlejuice and The Accidental Tourist, which earned her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

Her 1991 film Thelma & Louise – which is approaching its 35th anniversary on May 24 – became a box office sensation.
