 fans have been left stunned after spotting a former Walford resident making a surprise appearance in hit US medical drama The Pitt.

Actor Zack Morris, 27, who played Keegan Baker in the soap from 2017-2022, made his debut as patient Jackson Davis in the  show's second season. 

His law student character was brought into the emergency room after an outburst led to him being diagnosed with Schizophrenia.

EastEnders fans went wild after realising it was in fact British born  Zack on screen with an impressive American accent. 

One fan shared a clip of him in one scene to with the caption: 'being a British The Pitt fan means recognised random EastEnders actors in the show. 

They said: 'I THOUGHT I WAS TRIPPING OMG I’m so glad someone else caught this': 'I was like KEEGAN?!!! The most niche crossover ever': 'Zottu I was just as surprised as u when i saw Keegan pop up on the show!!! I guess their acting is starting to take off now since they are landing roles in big shows!!!'.

This is not the first US role for Zack who also appeared in Netflix's Goosebumps and adventure movie The Bluff opposite Priyanka Chopra.

ofThe Pitt's leading actor Noah Wyle, 54.

It has been said that he had been battling struggles behind-the-scenes, with comments from one of his co-stars dredging up historic bullying allegations from his days on ER, and a lawsuit claiming The Pitt is a 'copycat' of the show that made his name. 

Regardless, The Pitt has been a standout success for HBO as it has received both critical praise and several awards.

The drama has earned five Primetime Emmy Awards including an Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series gong for Wyle and top honor Outstanding Drama Series. 

Wyle's protagonist character is Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch who is a senior physician who is still reeling from his traumatic experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.

EastEnders fans went wild after realising it was in fact British born soap star Zack on screen with an impressive American accent.

He previously starred on aforementioned iconic medical drama ER over 254 episodes from 1994 to 2009.

Each episodeat the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.

The show takes place in Pittsburgh, with the title nodding to both the location and a nickname for the hospital's emergency department.

Other cast members include Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell and Shabana Azeez.
