Dave Grohl is reportedly ‘going to therapy’ in a bid to save his marriage, just a month after dropping the bombshell that he secretly fathered a love child.
Grohl – who was spotted still without his wedding ring in Los Angeles on Monday – is said to be trying everything he can to make things right.
The 55-year-old Foo Fighters frontman, whose ‘last-ditch’ effort to win back wife Jordyn Blum was recently revealed, appeared somber as he carried an Amazon box up to a home on a quiet, tree-lined street.
To try and make things right, an insider claims to InTouch that Grohl is ‘offering up phone text messages and constantly apologizing and going to therapy.’
Adding: ‘He’s trying to be a good dad but at the same time it’s frustrating and he doesn’t understand that these things can take months, even years to fix.’

He topped off the look with a navy baseball cap and glasses, adding to his laid-back vibe.
The sighting follows news that his band is expected to go on hiatus, with Grohl reportedly taking time to rebuild trust within his family in the wake of the scandal.
The Nirvana founder shocked fans in September when he confessed to his infidelity in a bombshell Instagram post.
Sources say the confession was a ‘final effort’ to save his 21-year marriage to Blum, 48, with whom he shares three daughters, after she reportedly gave him an ultimatum.
Now, Grohl is said to be focusing all his energy on mending the relationship, making an effort to be present for Jordyn and support her in the daily aspects of their life together.
‘He thinks the marriage is salvageable so why not try to fix it?’ an insider told the DailyMail.com exclusively.
They said Blum, who admitted to not feeling like she hasn’t been his ‘number one’ in years, gave the rocker a final chance to try and repair their relationship.
‘She gave him an ultimatum to figure it out and he wants to regain her trust,’ the source continued.
‘He has to focus on her, that will be his best chance at getting back to what they had. Dave is focusing on her needs.’
The source added the Grohl initially chose to reveal his extramarital affair, with the intention of staying with Blum.

‘Revealing [his affair and baby] in the first place was his last-ditch effort to save the marriage, because Jordyn knew about it well before the world found out,’ they explained.
‘He would rather remain married.’
Blum reportedly asked her musician husband to put a pause on recording new music and touring so he can focus on his personal life.
Foo Fighters cancelled their set at Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in late September in the wake of the scandal.

Grohl announced in a statement on September 10 that he had welcomed a daughter while vowing to try to ‘regain [the] trust’ of his wife and their three daughters.
‘I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,’ Grohl announced to his 1.4 million followers on Instagram. ‘I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
‘I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.’

The Foo Fighters front man announced he had fathered a secret love a child – a baby girl – outside of his marriage in a shocking Instagram statement in September
DailyMail.com previously revealed how in the months leading up to the announcement, a ‘jealous’ Grohl had been grilling Blum on her relationship with her ‘hot’ tennis coach, Christopher Crabb, 54, in what insiders claimed was an attempt to detract from his own indiscretions.
Grohl and Blum met in 2001 and have been married since 2003.
The couple share three daughters: Violet, 18; Harper, 15; and Ophelia, 10.
Blum has been consoled by her close friend Kate Hudson and has had a multi-million dollar offer from a publisher for a tell-all book about her life with the former Nirvana drummer.
