The vacant lot in Merewether, a prestige beach suburb 3 km from the CBD of Newcastle, has hit the market with a $2.7 million–$3 million price guide.
Johns, 47, appeared to be preparing to build a new pad on the site after demolishing his old five-bedroom home in 2025, which he purchased in 2000 for $1.4 million.
After dividing the cleared property into two lots, the hitmaker offloaded one of the blocks for $3.2 million last August, after it was on the market for just 24 days, the Newcastle Herald reported at the time.
According to the publication, the four-bedroom home next door to Johns' block sold for an impressive $3.7 million in July 2025.
The remaining 968 square metre property sits on high ground in a secluded cul-de-sac and boasts stunning ocean views, including Merewether Beach.

Johns has not revealed the reasons behind the sale of his Merewether property on any of his social media.
He demolished his old home to 'unlock the site's full potential'.
He had said in a statement: 'This place has been a huge part of my life and creativity, but it's time for something new that reflects where I'm at now and what's next.'
The new sale comes after Johns sold another nearby investment property in 2024 for a hefty $2.75 million - after listing it for $3 million.
Still, the price was right since Johns had purchased the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home at age 17 for just $360,000 in May 1996.
On Tuesday, Realestate.com reported that Johns also owns two other investment properties in Newcastle.

Last year, Johns announced that he is as he celebrated his birthday.
He posted to Instagram to mark the occasion, but added a cryptic message that implied he was in need of solitude, perhaps to work on a new art project.
