's troubled son Elijah Blue Allman wandered onto an elite boarding school campus in a robe and tried entering a girls' dorm before being hauled off by police in handcuffs last week, the Daily Mail can reveal.
Witnesses have shared fresh details of the bizarre incident at the prestigious St Paul's School in Concord, where Allman was reported as an 'unwanted guest' causing a disturbance and acting belligerently.
The son of legendary singer Cher and the late musician Gregg Allman was arrested last Friday and charged with assault, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct after allegedly confronting staff and students.
He has since been arrested again in nearby Windham, on burglary, criminal mischief, and breach of bail charges.
But it's the 49-year-old musician's first bust at the prep school that could see him looking at a longer stretch in the slammer.
Students revealed Allman was behaving erratically as he moved around the campus, approaching female students, and attempting to strike up conversations before staff and security intervened.

Elijah Blue Allman (pictured in 2001), the son of Cher and the late Greg Allman, is facing charges of assault, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, as well as burglary, and breach of bail after being arrested twice in three days
The 49-year-old musician was arrested on February 27 after wandering on to the campus of the elite St Paul's school in Concord, New Hampshire and allegedly trying to enter a girls' dorm
One student who witnessed the aftermath told the Daily Mail that police vehicles soon flooded the scene.
'I was walking through campus, and I saw the cop cars outside the dining hall,' the student said.
'At that point the guy [Allman] was sitting against a car, talking to police. It looked like he was handcuffed, and everything looked pretty calm.'
But the student, who initially believed Allman was a random 'crackhead', said the 49-year-old had been causing a disturbance inside before cops arrived on scene.

'A few of my friends who were there when it happened started telling me about it,' the student said.
'One of my friends told me, "a crackhead got on campus and started offering meth to some girls," but I'm not sure if that's really what he did, I just heard that.'
He added: 'What I do know, from a few of my girl friends, is that right before he was in the dining hall bothering people.
'He was right in front of a girls' dorm, trying to get in. They slammed the door in his face.
'Then when he was in the dining hall, first one of my friends told me he saw this guy smoking a cigarette, standing around talking to faculty and security.
'The school said he ID'd himself as a parent, but he looked like a complete crackhead. He had a cane and a long robe.'

Allman was booked by the Concord Police Department and released – only to be busted again two days later in nearby Windham
School officials told parents that Allman drove onto campus around 6pm and entered the dining hall by slipping inside as students were leaving the building.
St Paul's rector Kathy Giles confirmed Allman had 'no previous affiliation' with the school but had identified himself 'as a prospective parent.'
According to the student witness, Allman then began approaching students in the dining hall, including one of his female friends.
'He said [to her], "Hey, where are you guys going?" My friend said, "uh, the library",' the student recalled, adding that Allman then asked to join them.
'He grabbed one of the girls' shoulders while he kept trying to talk to them,' he added.

The student told the Daily Mail Allman had been acting 'weird' and claimed he wanted 'friends' but only talked to female pupils.
He explained: 'So, after all that is when I saw the guy, it was crazy. He was so weird. He wanted friends, I guess, but the only kids he was trying to talk to were girls.
'He kept hitting on all the girls. It was kind of scary for everyone.'

In an email sent to parents obtained by the Daily Mail, Rector Kathy Giles said Allman was driven to the school by a woman who was questioned by cops and then released.

She said Campus Safety received a call to 'provide support' as Allman began to interact with students.
'Mr Allman became annoyed with some students who had followed him, suspicious, and poked one with his cane,' she wrote.
'Faculty members alerted to this situation immediately intervened and engaged Mr. Allman, who pushed one faculty member with his cane before our safety officer physically removed him from the building.
'These are the misdemeanor assault charges. Concord Police responded quickly and arrested Mr. Allman, as he was belligerent toward our adults and the police officers.'
Despite being booked by the Concord Police Department following the incident, Allman was released from jail on his own cognizance – only to be busted again two days later.
He is currently being held at the Rockingham County Jail following the second arrest and was arraigned on burglary charges Monday and ordered to remain held in preventative detention.

Allman has a long history of drug abuse, has been through repeated spells in rehab, and has been hospitalized for overdoses in the past – most recently in June last year when he was found unconscious in Joshua Tree, California, and rushed to hospital.
He was also the subject of a long-running conservatorship battle over his substance abuse problems with his mother that ended in January 2024 with Cher's application being denied.
Sources told the Daily Mail that Allman had been in Maine visiting his old school – which is also a boarding school – when he wandered to New Hampshire.
Daily Mail has reached out to Cher for comment.
