The 29-year-old daughter of late Australian cricket legend  and Simone Callahan is said to be dreaming of a lavish European celebration next northern summer, with every detail carefully designed to honour her beloved father.

The pair are reportedly planning an elegant destination wedding in , a place that has long held a special place in the couple's hearts.

'Brooke wants the wedding to be elegant, relaxed and all about family and friends,' an insider tells this week's Woman's Day magazine.

'She wants everyone to feel like they’re on one big holiday.'

The couple, who have been together for almost seven years, are reportedly keen to exchange vows surrounded by their closest family and friends in the idyllic Mediterranean setting.

The emotional ceremony is expected to feature several touching tributes to Shane, who tragically died of a heart attack in Thailand in March 2022 at the age of 52.

With the cricket icon no longer able to walk his eldest daughter down the aisle, Brooke's younger brother Jackson Warne, 27, is reportedly set to take on the special honour in what is expected to be one of the day's most moving moments.

Her younger sister Summer Warne, 24, is expected to serve as maid of honour.

The celebrations could also feature performances from two of Shane's most famous friends.

According to the insider, global music superstars Ed Sheeran and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin are expected to attend and perform during the festivities.

Other celebrities who could potentially attend include Shane Warne's ex-fiancée Elizabeth Hurley and her son Damian.

'Brooke would love Ed to play Perfect, one of Shane's favourite songs, as she marries Alex, and for Chris to perform at the reception,' the source said.

'Honouring Shane is incredibly important to her. There won't be a dry eye in the house when his memory is acknowledged.'
