Brianne Howey Expecting Baby Number Two!

Ginny & Georgia star Brianne Howey is expecting her second child with husband of five years, Matt Ziering.

The actress, 36, shared the news on Sunday in celebration of US Mother's Day.

Sharing a beautiful picture of herself wearing a yellow dress as she cradled her bump, Brianne wrote: 'Here we grow again. Happy Mother's Day!'

Brianne has previously said that having her daughter Isabella two years ago helped her to understand her role as Georgia in the comedy-drama.

She plays the mother of Ginny, who she gave birth to her angsty daughter when she was aged 15. 

And she said: 'Prior to having a child, of course, I thought many of the Georgia-isms were absolutely insane and unhinged and over the top, and why is she taking up so much space?' she told PEOPLE in June 2025. 

'Now that I have a child, I am so obsessed with her that I understand why Georgia is so obsessed with Ginny, and my heart only got bigger and I just have even more respect for all the moms out there.'

She also spoke about deciding to use her real-life birth story in a scene for Netflix movie Kinda Pregnant. 

She said: 'Amy [Schumer] called me the night before and said, "Why is nobody talking about their birth stories?" So that's what we did.

'Then the next day, we went to set and that's my real birth story, actually.

'So it was a really intimate, kind of in the moment felt a little bit risky, but very safe at the same time because it was just me and Amy. And I'm so grateful to her for wanting to take a swing and really go big with that scene.' 

Brianne and Matt got married on July 24, 2021, in an intimate ceremony held in California.

The backyard garden wedding included 100 of their closest friends and family members.

The star is set to star in a fourth season of Ginny & Georgia alongside her co-star Antonia Gentry, but as yet, no release date has been set.  

At the end of season three, which aired in 2025, Georgia was free from prison after being accused of murder but her life was in pieces.

Her husband Paul had left her, she is pregnant, and she faces a new threat as her estranged, dangerous family tracks her down in final scenes.
