'Ironically, [it] was one of the least pretentious weddings that I've ever seen or ever will see,' Paisley insisted to the outlet. 'It meant a lot to be [invited]. It was, kind of, a big thank you from her to invite us.'

Swift was still a teenager when she served as opening act on Paisley's Bonfires and Amplifiers Tour in 2007, and the two have remained close and supportive of one another ever since.
