Brad Paisley Defends Taylor Swifts Tacky Wedding

Country music star Brad Paisley had only nice things to say about and ’s Madison Square Garden wedding, even though

However, the Whiskey Lullaby singer called it 'one of the least pretentious weddings' he's ever had the chance to witness when speaking to the Associated Press on Friday.

The Opalite singer and the City Chiefs tight end, both 36, exchanged vows on July 3 at the world-famous stadium in a castle-inspired setting featuring a dramatic grand staircase.

The couple's dream wedding is said to have set them back a cool $20 million.

Swift was still a teenager when she served as opening act on Paisley's Bonfires and Amplifiers Tour in 2007, and the two have remained close and supportive of one another ever since.
