Blanket Jackson Joins Legal Battle Over Estate

's younger brother Blanket appears to have entered the fray in the battle between his sister and the co-executors of their late father 's estate. 

Executors John Branca and John McClain said Monday in legal docs reviewed by Daily Mail that Paris, 28, caused a deal to crumble that she and her brothers Blanket, 24, and Prince, 29, had previously agreed to late last month.

The team for Blanket, , were keen to iron out a pact agreeable to all parties, lawyers for the executors said in court filings.   

The executors said Monday that they 'believed they had reached an agreement spearheaded by the efforts of - who stated in email communications that he spoke for all three siblings and their counsel on the issues.'

Things took a turn, the executors said in the filing, when lawyers for Paris 'inexplicably reversed their position entirely and reneged on the agreement that was acceptable to all other parties.'

Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for both parties for further comment on the story.

Paris pulled out of the deal just when it was about to close, the executors said in court filings, insisting on a list of demands 'radically different from what the parties had seemingly agreed to just a week prior.'

A private funeral for Jackson's family and friends was held in Glendale, California at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
