Andy Carroll and Lou Teasdale split for a third time and block each other on social media after a 'showdown in Ibiza'

Andy Carroll and Lou Teasdale have split for a third time, according to reports. 

The break-up is said to have been sparked by the footballer, 37, breaking a promise he had made to cut down on alcohol, leaving make-up artist Lou, 42, furious. 

They have now removed all traces of their relationship on social media and blocked each other. 

The on-off couple reportedly had a showdown in Ibiza, after Lou flew out to confront Andy over his partying. 

After their split for the second time, Andy vowed to cut down on  in a bid to save the relationship as it sparked rows. 

'Things came to a head between Andy and Lou after he flew to Ibiza without her – and broke his sobriety,' a source told The Sun. 

'He was partying and having fun, which is fine but she just didn't expect him to be drinking. Andy had promised he wouldn't touch booze to try and save their relationship, so this feels very disrespectful.

'Lou flew out to Ibiza with some friends but couldn't talk any sense into him. He is struggling with the fact it's over, but she feels like he's had enough chances now.' 

Daily Mail has contacted Andy and Lou's representative for comment. 

Lou also posted on Instagram a montage about 'the magic of doing Ibiza sober' following reports the relationship ended over Andy breaking his sobriety promise.  

The couple first split in August of last year after a series of rows, with initial reports claiming Andy ended their relationship because he was fed up with Lou's high maintenance behaviour.

However, Daily Mail exclusively revealed

Four days later, Andy revealed they had decided to give their relationship another go.

But three weeks after getting back together, they broke up again following a 'make or break' holiday. 

A close friend of Andy's at the time claimed the Dagenham & Redbridge player thought their split was a 'mistake,' with it later being reported that he 'begged for one last chance'. 

Andy had vowed to cut down on  in a bid to save his relationship with Lou, as he confirmed the pair were trying 'to work through their difficulties'.

He told The Sun on Sunday: 'I love Lou and I love her family. We row like any couple.'

Referring to his divorce from wife , Andy added: 'Things have been difficult for me and I'm going through a divorce.

'Some of our rows have been about , as Lou has been teetotal for 14 years and I have a beer or wine at dinner and a drink after the game, but it's not a problem in my life. We're better off together and we're trying to work through our difficulties.'

Andy shares Arlo, Wolf and Marvel with his estranged wife Billi and Emilie Rose and Lucas from a previous relationship with ex Faye Johnstone.

Andy’s marriage to former TOWIE star Billi, 37, officially ended in July 2024 after what many friends say had been a turbulent relationship for years.

The pair had been together for more than a decade and became engaged just a year after meeting.

It took eight years before they finally walked down the aisle in a lavish ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire.

But their marriage was over within two years.

‘Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are underway with our divorce proceedings,’ Andy wrote in a statement posted to Instagram.
