Nicola Peltz surprised fans last month when in which her features looked particularly chiselled.

The actress, 31, recently wrapped work on her new film Prima, in which she plays a prima ballerina, and after completing four months of rigorous ballet training for the role her weight was said to have dropped to under 100 pounds.

Yet Nicola's look has been subtly evolving over the years, with the star unrecognisable from her first red carpet appearances in her teenage years.

The Bates Motel star, who is the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz, has never publicly stated whether she's had any cosmetic enhancements.

Yet that hasn't stopped fans speculating over the years.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, aesthetic doctor and dermatologist Dr Hassan Galadari offered his thoughts on Nicola's changing appearance.

The actress' weight was said to have dropped to under 100 pounds after she took on four months of gruelling ballerina training for her upcoming film Prima (pictured last month)

Dr Hassan shared: 'Nicola Peltz has always been very beautiful, but her appearance does appear to have evolved subtly over the years.

'While it's impossible to say for certain what, if any, treatments she's had without examining her in person, it's possible she may have had anti-wrinkle injections such as Botox to maintain a smooth forehead and soften expression lines.

'Her brows also appear to sit slightly higher than in earlier photographs, which could be the result of a subtle brow lift.

'This can be achieved either surgically or non-surgically using carefully placed anti-wrinkle injections to create a gentle lifting effect.

'Her nose also appears a little more refined than in earlier images, which could be consistent with either a surgical rhinoplasty or a non-surgical rhinoplasty using dermal filler, although this cannot be confirmed from photographs alone.

'What really stands out is the quality of her skin. It looks consistently smooth, bright and incredibly even in tone, giving it that clear, porcelain-like complexion that's become synonymous with modern "glass skin".

'This can often be achieved with skin rejuvenation treatments such as IPL, including Lumecca Peak, which targets pigmentation, redness and sun damage to create a brighter, clearer and more luminous complexion.

'Combined with good skincare and diligent sun protection, these treatments can dramatically improve skin quality while still looking completely natural.'

Meanwhile, plastic surgeon Dr Paul Banwell mused that 'changes in facial contour, skin quality and overall facial harmony can sometimes reflect a combination of natural ageing, weight fluctuations, expert skincare, makeup, lighting and, in some cases, carefully performed non-surgical or surgical treatments.'

Yet fans have speculated over her changing look over the years (pictured in 2011)

At the start of the year Nicola sparked more tweakment rumours when she shared snaps from her New Year's Eve celebrations with husband Brooklyn Beckham.

While beaming away in the shots, her teeth looked noticeably whiter and larger and her top lip appeared to be raised.

The Bates Motel star has shared close up snaps of her teeth in the past, with Dr Mervyn Druian of The London Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry agreeing that she appears to have updated her teeth.

'In my opinion the photo from 2020 appears to be veneers. The latest picture also shows veneers but they look a little larger and more pronounced,' he told Daily Mail in January.

Nicola's top lip also appeared fuller than usual in the photo with the UK's leading aesthetics doctor Dr Rosh speculating it could be the result of a 'lip flip procedure' or more regular filler.

'When people notice Beckham's lips, what they are responding to is how they stay softly full even when she smiles, rather than thinning or rolling inward,' he told Daily Mail.

'In medical aesthetics, that effect is usually achieved through a very subtle combination approach.

'A small amount of an ultra-soft, flexible lip filler supports shape and hydration, while a tiny dose of botulinum toxin relaxes the muscle that would otherwise pull the lip under during expression.

'The toxin does not stop movement; it simply prevents the lip folding in on itself. When done at the highest level, the result is natural, expressive, and elegant, never overfilled.'

Dr Rosh concluded: 'This is an educational observation, not a claim about any individual's treatment.'

The cosmetic use of botulinum toxin has expanded to include the 'lip flip' procedure which enhances the lip contour and fullness without adding volume.

It is described as a minimally invasive and cost-effective technique for patients seeking a subtle enhancement.

The Daily Mail has contacted Nicola's representatives for comment.
