Ashley Graham Accidentally Reveals Clothing Size While Modeling Swimsuit

Ashley Graham has accidentally revealed her clothing size in a new Instagram post shared on Friday.

The slip took place as she was showing off a new brown faux leather jacket she designed for her line for JCPenney.

The 37-year-old Vogue cover girl – who does not like to discuss her weight – was holding up the jacket when she flashed the size on the tag inside.

It was marked 0X, which is smaller than 1X but larger than XL, often corresponding to a US women’s size 14W or 16W, but this varies by manufacturer.

Graham has not shared her clothing size in the past as it has been guessed she is anywhere from a 12 to 16.

‘Sneak peak of some pieces from my collection (eeeekkk!!) ((am I allowed to show these yet? )) (((I can NOT wait to show you more!))),’ wrote the star in her Instagram caption.

In April JCPenney announced it has tapped Graham to create an exclusive namesake collection for the full-figured woman.

The line is launching this fall and will ‘reflect Graham’s signature bold and confident style,’ the company shared.

‘This is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time,’ said Graham in April.

‘JCPenney was a true champion for me right from the very beginning, giving me one of my very first opportunities as a model. Now, to see JCPenney boldly embracing their role as a fashion leader for all body types feels incredibly powerful and inspiring.

‘This isn’t just a partnership – it’s the culmination of our shared history and a meaningful step forward in making real, affordable fashion truly inclusive.’

The 37-year-old Vogue cover girl was also seen looking incredible in a plunging leopard-print swimsuit.

Graham does not like to be labeled as a ‘plus-size’ model and says she hates constantly having to talk about her body.

Speaking to WSJ Magazine, Graham detailed how frustrating it is constantly answering questions about her figure, and pointed out that she doesn’t know ‘any man that has to do that.’

This comes months after Brooke Shields gave advice to Graham ahead of her Broadway debut in Chicago.

The model played Roxie Hart in the long-running musical.

During an appearance on CBS Mornings, Ashley said: ‘Brooke Shields has been a beacon of light.

‘She has texted me paragraphs and photos and has been so kind and sweet.’

The model actually ran into Brooke in the bathroom shortly before she auditioned for Chicago.

Ashley said: ‘[I] was like, “This is a godsend, for sure.”‘

The runway star – who previously appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue – subsequently shared some of Brooke’s advice.

She explained: ‘She just said, “Be yourself.” And I was like, “What does that mean?” But that’s what I did, I just was myself in the audition because Roxie really is in all of us.

‘She’s the go-getter, she wants to make it to the top, and she’ll do anything to get there.’

Ashley has also admitted to being motivated by her critics.

She said: ‘I have been told no so many times in my career. I’ve been told that I’m not good enough. All the things. And I’m using that and bringing that to the stage.’

Ashley’s casting was announced in March, when the model revealed that she was thrilled to be taking on a ‘new challenge’ in her career.

She said in a statement at the time: ‘I’m honored to make my Broadway debut as the iconic Roxie Hart.

‘I’m deeply grateful to be able to embrace this new challenge and excited to share the stage with this incredible company.’ Ashley also took to social media to share the news with her Instagram followers.

The model wrote on the platform: ‘It’s official. I AM BROADWAY-BOUND!!! I can’t believe I’m finally able to share that I’m making my Broadway debut in @chicagomusical! I’ll be playing THE Roxie Hart (!!) at the Ambassador Theatre from Tuesday, April 15, through Sunday, May 25—EEEEK!!!’
