Jorgie Porter, 37, Struggles to Feel Sexy After Motherhood

Jorgie Porter has admitted she is struggling to feel sexy again as she returns to Hollyoaks after welcoming her second children.

The actress, 37, who is a proud mum to 10-month old daughter Peony and son Forest, two, has said she is struggling to find her sexy side to play her soap character Theresa McQueen.

Jorgie, who bagged the Sexiest Female award in 2012, told Daily Mail she has completely ‘forgotten how to flirt’ as she is in a baby bubble with ‘no makeup and messy hair’.

She said: ‘I feel so lucky to have been asked to do this one but trying to be sexy again feels so weird!

‘When you’re at home with no make up on and your hair is a mess and all of a sudden, I have got to switch to ‘Sexy Teresa.’

‘I was flirting in the latest episode with Danny and I was like: ‘What do I do?’ I’ve got to find it and get that back somehow. How do I be sexy again? I can’t just ‘be sexy!’

‘Someone said I was voted one of the sexiest women at one time, but now? It is really funny when you are being a parent doing baby life!’

Jorgie revealed that she doesn’t need to go to the gym to keep fit as her children are always ‘demanding to be lifted’ which has made her ‘so strong’.

She said: ‘Why would I go to they gym at the moment – because at home I’ve got my two heavy weights already.

‘I am older now so I’m like: ‘My back hurts! Why does my back hurt?’ Forrest was demanding to be lifted the whole time I was pregnant. Obviously, I was on edge. But I am so strong now.

‘I have two children who want to be carried. Forrest is more emotional, we can’t explain to him: ‘We’ll pick you up in a minute.’

As she ends her maternity leave, Jorgie admitted it is ‘tricky’ trusting a nanny to look after her young children but praised her fiancé Oliver Piotrowski for being ‘flexible’.

‘I have been trying to plan,’ she explained.

‘I probably need a nanny, but I don’t trust one until I get one. I don’t know, it’s a tricky scenario. I want to be with them as much as I can. There are two days when they are going to nursery. And Oliver can be flexible with his work’.

The soap star has played Theresa McQueen from 2008 until 2016 before taking a four year break.

She returned to the show in 2020 and has appeared periodically since then, including a two year spell from 2020 before her latest comeback.

Now with two children, Jorgie revealed learning her lines is a nightmare but once she ‘transforms’ into her character she starts to ‘remember what she is like’.

She told Daily Mail: ‘I’ve no time to prep. At nighttime I learn my lines when the kids are in bed and I’ve got that hour where me and Oliver don’t even talk to each other.

‘We just watch tv because we are zonked. That is time to learn my lines and get my head around it.

‘I’ve had my hair transformation done. We do all the makeup and then there are costume fittings. That is the exciting bit where I am warming up to it. I start to live the character again and remember what she is like.’

Before returning to set, Jorgie enjoyed her final days of maternity leave in Marbella soaking up the sun.

She showed off her post-pregnancy body as she hit the beach in skimpy beige swimwear.

The TV personality was seen racing across the sand during her final appearance on the picturesque Mediterranean island, days before returning to work in Liverpool.

The British star later cooled off beneath an outdoor shower before pulling a pair of tight black cycling shorts over her bikini bottoms and returning to her hotel.

Jorgie appeared to be without fiancé Oliver as she rounded off her day by taking baby daughter Peony on a brief tour of a local port.
