The British singer, 32, who recently baffled fans with his 'Australian accent', has now shown off his 'perfect' French accent ahead of hosting the CBS show on March 14.
The start of the video teased Harry's return to the studio, but he missed out on 15 minutes of rehearsal time with Marcello Hernández, filling in for the hitmaker.
Marcello borrowed Harry’s outfit and haircut as he took to the stage until he saw that the Watermelon Sugar singer and Kenan Thompson were watching the whole thing.
'I thought you weren’t coming, so I thought I would just go on as your understudy,' Marcello explained.
Harry replied: 'What are you doing Marcello, are those my clothes? I'm only 15 minutes later because Kenan and I went out for pain au chocolats, it's a tradition when I host.'
Kenan added: 'You forgot the pain au chocolat.'

Marcello apologised before asking how he can help Harry prepare in which he added, once again in a perfect French accent: 'You can hold my pain au chocolat'.
Fans took to the comments of the fun video to praise the former One Direction star for his French accent and shared their excitement to watch the show.
They wrote: 'As a French girl, Harry is saying « pain au chocolat » perfectly; listening to Harry pronounce “pain au chocolat” has made our day;

The Saturday Night Live takeover is part of Harry's promotion for his fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally., which was released on 6 March.
Harry made his hosting debut on the chat show back in November 2019. During the episode, he performed Lights Up and Watermelon Sugar.
In addition to his hosting duties, he has been on the show several other times as a musical guest. He performed once as a solo artist in 2017 and also appeared when he was in One Direction in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
It comes days after Harry left fans scratching their heads with his new 'Australian accent'.

Following his interview on Apple Music's The Zane Lowe Show to discuss his fourth studio album, fans were left shocked by the Worcestershire-born star's unique drawl.
Flooding X, devotees of the star, whose upcoming 50-stop tour will travel through in Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, City, New York, and , noted his accent was 'a mad one' with 'an Australian twang'.
Harry has previously been accused of tweaking his Northern accent in favour of a more American sound, something he blamed on his globetrotting.

In 2022, Harry spoke about why his accent is prone to flip-flop, explaining: 'I think it's a little bit all over the place because I'm from up north and then I've lived in London for 10 years and I've spent a lot of time in America and stuff.
'So, I think when I'm with Americans, they don't think I sound American at all. And then sometimes I think when I'm with English people they expect me to sound American - I don't think I do, but maybe I pick up a couple bits along the way.'

Harry is kicking off his comeback tour in Amsterdam on May 16 and will wrap up in Sydney, Australia.

Throughout his tour he will be joined by special guests including Robyn, Shania Twain, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé and Skye Newman.
It comes as Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally could dethrone as the fastest selling British album of the last decade.
According to reports, the singer, who released the album on Friday, is said to have sold a 125K copies within the first two days alone, while Adele's 30, back in 2021, .
Harry also looks set to land the top three places in the UK charts with new single American Girls at No1, followed by Aperture at No2 and Ready, Steady, Go! at No3.

This come hot off the heels of Harry's one off show in Manchester ahead of his 12-night Wembley Stadium residence, which sets another record for the most performances by any artist in a single year at the iconic venue.

Ahead of him taking to the stage in London a source told The Sun: 'Harry is celebrating this new era with an incredible stage set up. His team are building an epic set for the Wembley residency. Because he's not moving around, they can really go to town.
'There will be enormous big screens and likely fireworks at the end of the shows. Harry gave his fans a taste of what is to come from the shows during the Brit Awards when he did an amazing choreographed routine as he sang Aperture.
'These shows are going down in history.'
