and Jo Whiley have reflected on their wild years partying and working whilst parenting their young children, admitting that they have a more present relationship with their kids now.
The TV and radio stars, who host gardening and lifestyle podcast Dig It, mused that their children now have 'a much more boring version of who we used to be.'
Zoe, 55, shares two children, son Woody, 25, and daughter Nellie, 16, with her ex husband, Norman Cook, aka the DJ Fatboy Slim.
Jo, 60, is a mum of four to India, 34, Jude, 27, Cassius, 25, and Coco, 16 with her music executive husband Steve Morton.
Both have discussed how they have cut back on drinking in recent years, and in the latest episode of their podcast debated how that has affected their relationships with family.
'I can have one drink, I'll really enjoy a second. I can never have more than that. I'm really happy that I managed to get to that place in my life because I used to have a very different relationship with where I wouldn't stop at all,' Zoe explained.

The TV and radio stars, who now host their popular gardening and lifestyle podcast Dig It, mused that their children have 'a much more boring version of who we used to be'
'I think that is the thing that I love about me now, I don't love loads of things about me, but I am really happy that my kids get a healthy version of me who is there for them whenever they need me.'
She added: 'I'm quite boring. I go to bed quite early. I sleep a lot. I like my little life as it is but I am much more available to all the people who need me and to myself. And that's a good thing.'
Former children's television presenter Zoe was a figurehead of 'ladette culture' which defined the late 1990s, admitting that at times her partying was so wild she only has 'vague memories' of her time at the helm of the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
Her reputation as a party girl increased after her 1999 marriage to superstar DJ Fatboy Slim, when she often found herself among other female stars known for their booze-fuelled antics.
She has credited her appearance in the 2005 series of Strictly for allowing her to reinvent herself as an adult presenter whilst in more recent years she has prioritised a quieter life with family, quitting her Radio 2 show in 2025.
Fellow Radio 1 star Jo meanwhile mused how her youngest daughter Coco, 16, has had a very different experience of her mother compared to her older siblings.
'Coco has a much more boring version of who I used to be,' Jo, who presented on Radio 1 and Top of The Pops alongside Zoe in the nineties, said.
'I used to really go out. I used to drink. I used to not get back until really early in the morning.'

'Whereas India can remember me going to the Brits and the various states that I got myself into but I think probably Coco is getting a better version of me... unless she thinks I'm lame maybe she thinks I'm really boring!'
Zoe added that now it's the turn of her son Woody to try and persuade her to come out partying.
'My kids do it like, "Come on, mom. You used to be so much fun. Come on, you can do it!"
'Woody's always "have an espresso martini!" Do you know, I had an espresso martini on Saturday night. I didn't sleep till 4 in the morning. It was a total disaster.'
'I say to my kids, "look, you enjoy it. If you want to have a drink and you're going to have some fun, fine. But your mother is not who she used to be."'
'I think sometimes they feel they missed out. I'm like, "Yeah, you missed out on some of the fun, but you also missed out on me when I just took it a little bit too far for a little bit too long."'
Jo, 60, is a mum of four to India, 34, Jude, 27, Cassius, 25, and Coco, 16 with her music executive husband Steve Morton
'And I think when you get to my age, you'll be like, "Oh, yeah, maybe it was better that she stopped drinking as much, you know."'
The close pals did admit they can now look back on their party years with fondness, with Zoe gushing: 'Oh my god, it was so much fun.'
'The things that we both got to do and the people we got to interview and the things that we forget and then someone pulls a clip up, I'm like, "Wow, I used to wear crop tops!"'
